No but I am beginning to wonder 9-0, 3-2 and 2-2 in the last 3. I do believe he has talent but is he actually playing out of his skin for us or just coasting through the season?

Collins has conceded on average 1.1 goals per 90 minutes in the league compared to 1.27 for evtimov. Yes we have shipped a few goals in the last few games but overall Collins has done ok in my opinion.
Interested to hear from those at the game how the new lad at right back got on today?

How did Clarke do? He did ok but maybe not that fit as yet. We look really fit as a side at the mo and he isn’t up to that sort of level yet. For me yesterday once again you were struggling to find a man of the match as there were many excellent performances, particularly in the first half. Buxton, Brayford, Quinn, Allen, Fraser, but especially Akins who caused huge problems for their right back down the left with his ability to beat him through pace, power and trickery. We should have made much more of our dominance.

Good afternoon out, decent game, fair result. Again we dominated for much of the first half but don't seem to be able to turn the screw. It is frustrating but I've no complaints.
Was a little surprised at the line up but I guess one or two are going out. With players coming back from injury we did look strong on the bench yesterday as well.
I'll possibly spoil my post now but in answer to a post above, I probably would still pick Steve Bywater in goal but Cloughie had to make a decision and run with it. So that's fine.

Don't forget that Doncaster are just outside the play-offs, ten points ahead of us and haven't conceded many goals at home recently. I'd have taken a draw at the start of the game.
Over all, it's a good result, especially to come from behind at the end.
3799 and 493

Agreed, you did IMO. Well done to the team though, another valuable away point.

I think that is a tad harsh on Brad to be fair Mikey. When I look back at all of those goals I am not sure there are that many that I could say that Brad could have done much more. I think there is more to come from him and he didn’t convince me at first. I believe that he is out of contract at Chelsea in the summer. They may yet offer him something but it is unusual, from my experience, to send a player out on loan in the last six months of a deal without getting an extension sorted first. Brad has everything to play for. A deal back at Chelsea, here or elsewhere for next season.

Another good day at the Keepmoat, coming home with a point was nice ,Buxton 2 assists==Brayford 2 goals,so we have sorted our striker problem out. Another 2 goals conceded. playing on the front foot does leave plenty of space for the opposition.must say we lived on the edge. But we had a go and 4 points out of 6, a brilliant return.First half we were like a dream team

But you too must feel that we have played really well in our last 3 league games and almost thrown 2 of them away. I thought defensively we were sound yesterday, so had to ask the question ‘Is it the goalkeeper?’. What I would have liked to see is a young keeper proud to pull on the shirt and prepared to play out of his skin to be part of the future. There are plenty of young keepers who would do that but is Brad one of them? I honestly don’t know.

2 points dropped for me we were in complete control first half a d should have been 3 or 4 up. You could see what was going to happen when it was only 1-0 I don’t see why people are talking about dropping Collins I don’t see a great deal he could have done about most of the goals we’ve conceded recently it’s the 10 in front of him you need to look at Again he waiting until we went behind to change anything 3 big games coming up now and with our record against trans at the bottom I’m not overly confident you have to start asking serous question if we don’t get Atleast 7 points from them 3 but we don’t have a great record against oxford or Bradford. If he thinks we are fine going forward he needs to take a long look we only have 1 out and out striker in the squad

In my opinion the first goal yesterday was an excellent cross and the striker has headed it in off the far post. The second, the lad has gone one on one. Perhaps the lads expected an offside flag (I know I did) and he’s taken it early to beat Brad. Last week - one was a penalty, the first, perhaps he could have done better, I didn’t have the best view and the third I didn’t think he had much chance with. Two league games prior to that were Rochdale and Bristol where we kept clean sheets. Brad still concerns me at times but I think the defence are comfortable with him in that they know what he will and won’t come for and therefore what they have to try and deal with. He has time on his side to iron out his weaknesses that are there right now and IF he is here beyond this season I don’t have a problem with that as hopefully we could have a keeper for the next two or three seasons at least and some stability in that position.

Ian I actually like the lad and hope he makes it. But you have to ask whether we are losing points currently. I have seen a few decent Keepers at the Pirelli this season and I’d just like us to have one too.
