Now Amazon to show live Premiership matches from 2019
Another cost to the armchair fan. Doesn't effect me too much as I'm usually at a Burton game... Competition is driving prices up for consumers in this market which is a shame.

As I understand it they have two days where they are able to stream all 10 Premier League games at the same same time. Handy if anyone has 10 screens and 10 pairs of eyes.
Meanwhile we are having to have a fundraiser to keep Aston Villa from going bankrupt...

Any cost for me---- none not interested in Premiership games. If Burton are striving to keep Villa a float, perhaps a little of this cash could be donated to salary's for our out of contract players. Money is in short supply at Burton If Villa had to rely on the brewers for money. We are all doomed

It's all a bit of a nonsense, I hear folk saying in the news that's another platform I've got to subscribe to to watch premier league footy.
Well it isn't really because when you look at it Sky choose their matches, BT theirs and what's left Amazon want to screen. The matches Amazon have would most likely have never been shown unless they weren't taken up by the other two, so they are a bonus for folk to pay to watch, or not, a choice they have.
I have BT sport, part of my package with Virgin which will end in 6-7 months, I am then told it will put another £5 on my package, I'll probably go with that. My missus subscribes to Amazon Prime so I hopefully can watch these matches unless they put it on the package as an extra fee, who knows?

So chances are you'll be out watching Burton anyway
