All tickets in club shop sold out. Three allocations all snapped up. 1,200 sold that's fantastic support. Pay on day only from now.

Although I know we had sold 1000 tickets for Saturday previously I'm not sure how many extras we were getting, any way they have all sold out too ! So my friends I would guess we will surpass our Walsall away attendance with our biggest away following of the season at the Ricoh Arena. We should be able to generate some atmosphere !

maybe the title of this thread should be changed to just Coventry away and lose the big game part, I appreciate a win for either side would be a great result league wise but its only tin pot Cov! They haven't even got a ground they play on a Rugby pitch.

Coventry won't be easy, they have recently signed Peter Ramage, Joe Cole and Stephen Hunt. All very experienced ex-Prem players, all a tad older but we will need to be wary. Add Armstrong and Bigirimana to that list... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35318728

I think we can run Joe Cole down. He's an old chap.
Should get him off by 50-60 mins at 0-0 then Nick it.
Hopefully.

I remember back in the 1970s and 80s Coventry were always top flight, who can forget their FA Cup win in 1987 as well. Oh how they have fallen, shaking at the thought of facing "tiny" Burton ha ha ha

Oh how they have fallen, shaking at the thought of facing "tiny" Burton ha ha ha Even when they were in top flight they were always a very small club though. Which is why everyone was so happy for them when they won that cup final v Spurs It was great to see a tiny minnow team beat a big team in the final Their fans must have been so excited to finally win something. I can remember how excited they all got for a day Must be awful for them now though in League 1 and playing in a stadium nearly three times as big as they need for the amount of fans they have Hopefully we can at least create some atmosphere in the away end for them this weekend

Oh how they have fallen, shaking at the thought of facing "tiny" Burton ha ha ha Yes they even owned their own stadium then Highfield Road, now they play at Wasps rugby ground. Fallen indeed ! In that time BAFC have risen from the Southern League, Northern Premier league, The Conference, league two to League one. We deserve to be where we are on merit !

Coventry are playing at the normal level as they have done for the majority of their history prior to the arrival of Jimmy Hill.

Could never understand why Coventry wanted to leave Highfield Road for a bigger stadium
It held 23,000 fans and they could rarely fill it - let alone need a bigger stadium
Small club who always thought they were a bigger than they were
Hence the sad and almost shameful demise in recent years
A lesson for all football clubs to learn from
Thank god we have an owner who knows what he is doing is all I can say

Coventry are certainly the biggest club in the league, if not the biggest outside of the Premier League. I, for one, relish the opportunity to see the mighty Brewers beat them at their own stadium ha ha ha

Or is it based on the amount of money they owe?
