Welcome to the forum whether you are a Brewer, fan from another club or press.
We are a small but growing group and like all forums enjoy good discussion witticisms and banter but within the following boundaries....
Members can either choose to have a name which identifies them to those in the know or a nickname. If the latter is the case then others will not "out' them, if they choose to be anonymous then all shall respect that .
No textspeak or abbreviations allowed beyond the obvious, which to me is LOL, BTW etc. If I don't understand it then it will get edited out and being a dinosaur (!) I don't understand much more than them...

No contact details:- addresses or phone numbers of members will be posted onto message boards. Private messages are a different matter.
Swearing and certain other terms are not allowed and will be automatically blocked by the mechanics of the forum. If you can't say it without swearing then find another way or don't say it.
If threads that fall into the scope of a political or a promotional nature ( as defined by Admin) are not cleared with Admin before posting then they will be removed at the discretion of the Admin in control of the forum.
This forum is primarily concerned with Burton Albion, other football related threads may be posted elsewhere on the forum, indeed the General Chat area can be used for non footie related topics. These however are at the discretion of the ADMIN whose decision as to if they are appropriate to be included is final. Topics such as advertising and politics have been removed from the forum.
Discussion and banter is encouraged and enjoyed, but if ever there comes a point when an ADMIN believes that this has gone too far then primarily the member (s) will be messaged, along with the possible option of the post being removed (along with any associated posts). In extreme circumstance copies of the removed posts might be made for future reference. ADMIN can choose to issue friendly advice concerning such posts or temporarily exclude or ban the members concerned.
When quoting another member's post the text shown must be an unedited copy of that quotation i.e. it must remain an exact copy including with regard to length and punctuation however any relevant portions of a long quotation should be reproduced in bold text.
What is put on any forum page and the following reaction to it are the opinions of the posters, however, the forum and those administrating it cannot morally or more to the point sometimes legally disassociate themselves from what appears here. Like all footie forums we are monitored by the police. Here on Brewers Talk we will work with them if posts are attempted to be put on here which have legal implications, for instance, those which are in danger of being seen as inciting violence, or which are libellous. That is why ADMIN, will on very rare occasions take what is felt as appropriate actions against any erroneous posts as soon as they are seen. We cannot monitor the forum all the time but will act immediately any such posts are seen..
Members do not always agree when action is taken by ADMIN, but where good banter turns bad, personality clashes occur, or a spat becomes an argument, a judgement made at that time.
If any member has a grievance against the forum or a specific member or members then they should first pm ADMIN (currently Norah) to discuss issues. There is also a thread called the Forum for general queries.
