I was coming down today funky but late on yesterday evening I agreed to take a friends 10 year old lad to his 1st match at the Pirelli, he's keen and I think we have a future Brewer there so I've put that before a pre match bevvy, a sacrifice to the Albion cause you may say, putting the club before my ale !

Funky, what time will the club be open on Tuesday night ? Pre match - of course, I forgot we have a game. What time do you want? We normally open about 6.42 on a Tuesday but may have to get us open a bit earlier

Half 6 would give us a nice steady hour before ambling off to the game ?

Not usually a fan of Pedigree but enjoyed it today and Mrs BDS approved the Hobgoblin.

I'm going to have to probably miss out again on Tuesday, that young lad(Harry) I took to the Peterborough game enjoyed it so much that he is coming again against Middlesbrough and his parents are getting him a Brewers shirt !

No home match this weekend, that is most annoying when you have an Open Weekend and a Beer Festival planned!!! Anyway, you are more than welcome to pop in and sample what we have on offer. Festival starts Friday evening All ales priced at £2.80 a pint, £1.40 a half pint.

Unless there is a cock up.... Perhaps to spite me ?! you will be ordering Cocker Hoop by Jennings .. (Mr T. says that would be a reason to delete the post on its own for the sake of real ale drinkers). For those not in the know this is a joke...!!!

Not having Cockerhoop, but if we can get Snecklifter, that would be good (too expensive for our little place)

What about.. Cornish knocker ... Skinners
Then if two people want a pint then they can ask for, "a pair of knockers!"

Wadworth 6x is the guest ale this weekend. As ever very reasonably priced and of course if it interests you you can watch the Palace v West Brom game.
