Ian,
The Social Club got me out of a fix last night by lending me the phone for free. Car problems and a dead mobile. Pass on my thanks to the two ladies who saved me bacon. I got home at 1.30am but never mind. I'd still be there if it wasn't for their help.

Biggest game we've had for a good few years, What's on offer tomorrow to calm my nerves ? I've just been checking to make sure... We have Pedi, Abbot Ale at the bargain price of £2.90 and currently a very reasonable, 'priced to sell' St George and the Dragon at just £2.00 a pint... Next cab off the rank is worth waiting for, the very delectable and indeed sensational Jaipur... and yes it is still £2.90 a pint... And after the game - free band, the most excellent Silicone Taxis, if you can stay awake...

Now that flurry of signings should have you all flocking to the new Eton Park tomorrow. Where better to go first but to YOUR favourite village club.
I will update the beer options in due course but a couple of things to mention.
As you will be aware we now offer members and non members pricing system and continue to offer best value for money. We would love it if you want to join our club. We are now offering a special deal. Join now for the one off price of £10 (£5 for over 65s) and you can enjoy membership through to the end of this year and ALL of 2019. Not only do you get members prices but, you will also get loyalty points every time you buy a drink, and what do points make??? "Prizes"... well you can offset your points against future drinks purchases. You also get a free drink if you come in on your birthday and reduced room hire charges after 12 months of membership.

Can we rename this thread “Funky’s Club”? 😉 Funky is no more, he is an ex Brewer, he has ceased to be.

Sign me up! I will be in with a38 tomorrow - I will bring my £10 £5 for you britty lad, you’ll easily drink over 65 pints with me driving! In Sky Sports style Breaking News there’s potentially going to be a fourth member of the party with me making his Brewers debut tomorrow... the latest (unofficial) Junior Brewer, you’ve inspired me... technically his second visit to the Pirelli as he was there for the League 2 trophy ceremony as a tiny thing (screamed a lot if I recall correctly, and not in an excited-to-have-secured-the-trophy sort of way!)... we’ll see how it goes. I’ll be keen for a pre-match pint of London Pride, great selection Mr McGibbon...COYB...
