Hope he gets to play more games for them than he did when he was here. I think I only saw him play once? He had a decent game but was one of JFH’s many signings in the summer of 2021 and barely got a chance here. I think he did well for Carlisle and can only think they let him leave as they’ve been promoted and want to change things there?

RIP Paul. You were a top keeper for us in the mid 1980s and will always be remembered for the FA Cup tie against Leicester City in January 1985. For the benefit of our younger and more recent fans this article details exactly what happened and why the tie had to be replayed.

That's a very good start at Dundee United.
"Louis Moult marked his Dundee United league debut with a goal and three assists as the Scottish Championship title favourites ran out thumping 4-0 winners in the season opener at Arbroath"

I see that Victor scored for Bolton yesterday. But Zac Ashworth was an unused substitute.

Not an ex-Brewer but I couldn't help but notice the name of a former Brewers adversary on the scoresheet this week-end.... Scoring the first goal for Hibs on Sunday in their 3 v 2 defeat by St Mirren.... Le Fondre... surely not Adam le Fondre I thought.... Is there another I wondered? But I thought he'd retired...? Where's he been these last few years I've heard nothing of him? Turns out after his season at Bolton 2017-18 he went to Sydney FC for five years (in the middle 20-21 had a loan spell with Mumbai City) Now he's back north of the border, in Edinburgh, with Hibs... Quiz question - who's the oldest a) John Bayford b) (almost a Brewer b4 signing for Fleetwood) Jamie Vardy or c) Adam le Fondre ?

Teddy Sharman-Lowe, the wondermi keeper we sold to Chelsea during the pandemic, has joined Bromley on loan. Played last season at Havant & Waterlooville so moved up a division to one of the better teams in the National League. Clearly progressing well. Would love to know how much we got for him!
