I agree Odette, I wish Derby well while Nigel is there. Great credit to Jake for stuffing it up those callers to Radio Derby on Monday evening who, whether they win, lose or draw, call for NC to be sacked and take his "non-league mates" with him.

Daryl Clare looks like making a mid table finish in his first season as player-manager of Louth Town. www.louthtown.co.uk/club/HomeI noticed that he has got his boots out for 14 matches, scoring 4 goals.

The other week, Stuart Reddington (now 35) played for Lincoln United in a goaless draw at Gresley, and Adam Bolder scored for Harrogate Town on Thursday, in a 1-1 draw against AFC Halifax.

Good to see Tony James in Newport Counties team at home, in the 2nd leg of The Conference semi-final holding a 1 - 0 lead.

Guy Branston offered a contract extension by Argyle. He must have found a club that likes him.

Kristian Ramsey-Dickson, who I don't recall appearing for our 1st team, has joined Alfreton Town on a 1 year deal. I notice the Reds have reverted to part-time this year.Tough ask in a Conference full of 'big ex-league clubs' who are still full-timers.

I think a few more Conference clubs will be reverting to part time soon although I can't see a part time club challenging for the play offs.

I think a few more Conference clubs will be reverting to part time soon although I can't see a part time club challenging for the play offs. It is worth noting that Burton Albion did not go full time until they joined the Football League. I think the only team in recent years to have gained promotion as a part time team. I do agree though it would be far harder now, because of some of the big ex-league clubs in the Conference. Frankly I was surprised when Alfreton announced they were going full time in the first place, due to the size of the club and their gates. The Brewers also had about £80K a season Setanta TV money to help.

Former Doncaster Rovers midfielder Lee Fowler has signed for Blue Square Conference Premier Division side Kidderminster Harriers. The 30-year-old was former manager Dean Saunders final signing in January. The midfielder played just four times for Rovers and he spent time out on loan at Forest Green Rovers and Burton Albion. Rovers released Fowler at the end of the season after a disappointing spell with the club after signing on a short-term deal. Fowler has signed for Kidderminster on a two-year deal.
