No idea if there is any truth in it but Pete O'Rourke is the Sky reporter who broke the story about Scunthorpe chasing Billy Kee last summer.

There can't be too many clubs with 2 Scottish keepers on the books ! Shearer is a good experienced keeper, a good signing in my opinion.

they signed him in July on a free, 3 appearances, 3 losses, 7 goals conceded. he hasn't played since Sept.7th ... dunno? Crewe are 3rd from bottom with the worst GD in L1 at -21 and he can't get a game? we do need some one though in case McL gets injured. He could still be a good L2 keeper though even at 33.

Unless Jimmy has got a wonder signing up his sleeve we should try and hold on to macca at any cost!! If a player's head gets turned and the prospect of playing in a higher division for a bigger club appeals to him then I'm afraid there's not a lot we can do about it apart from try and get as much money as possible. Speaking of players leaving us to play in a higher division, the football league official twitter account has tweeted that Billy Kee is on his way back to league two on loan for the rest of the season...with Wycombe Wanderers. I'd also seen Mansfield mentioned. From what I've seen of Scott Shearer he was always an excellent keeper. Really pleased to have him on board. Real pressure on McLaughlin for the no.1 spot now.

Well, it has been quite quiet. I thought that there would be a bit of activity and announcements by now, maybe later this week? I think Blyth and McFadzeans loans both expire today (Callums may be Friday) and Bell and Sharps are still here?

Callum McFadzean has gone back to Sheffield United.
We are still hoping to extend Jacob Blyth's loan.

Pete O'Rourke on twitter claims we're interested in West Ham forward Elliott Lee, along with Luton, Wycombe and Southend.

Scored plenty of goals for West Hams under 21s
Joined Southend on loan already this season back in October but pulled hamstring and never played for them
Surely he's likely to go back there if they still want him

Not withstanding any family or personal circumstances, who as a striker would you rather work with?
John Still? Perma tan Phil Brown? Gareth Ainsworth?
or
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink…??
As I say there may well be family or personal circumstances at play (being in and around London being one of them) but really???
