Yes it is - thought he was a top player, bright fellow as well I recall. Yes he was, a tremendous engine and grafter in midfield, good on the ball, could pick a pass and score a goal or to. Very instrumental in us winning the Unibond/Northern Premier league. If my memory serves me correctly wasn't he a student at Notts University and also played for England Universities. I may be wrong but shortly after promotion to the Conference and a 7-4 mauling at home to Telford did he not withdraw his services due to it being a bit too demanding alongside his studies ? Any info on him since he left the fold ?

Not sure about where he went with his football after us though.

Be interesting to hear what Simon has to say about this idea. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29919748This is good news: "While the outcome is different to previous indicative votes, it demonstrates that there is still a desire amongst clubs to find out more about artificial playing surfaces before taking such a significant step." Forget the clubs, Hopefully L1 and L2 players will do something similar to the ladies teams who have filed a lawsuit against the use of turf in the next World Cup. And fans should also protest against this because it IS more expensive, no matter they try to make you believe, and any added expenses are paid for by the fans in ticket and merch prices.
