Same team as Saturday, better outcome, accomplished performance, look a team. Sharpes outstanding, but then again so was the Sherriff, Lyness had nowt yo do but did it well. Kee superb, Bell and Weir so consistent and MacDonald, looking increasingly dangerous. Love that a Diamond comes on with 5 mins to go and makes a couple of great headers! Bring on Bournemouth

NOW THAT WAS WORTH WAITING FOR ! Ball on the ground =fluent entertaining footy . Very solid team effort . Probably the best I've seen this season from the Brewers . Play that way for the rest of the season and there will be a very happy , proud Porky. Well done BREWERS !

Another clean sheet, more prize money and yet another 3rd round appearance in the fa cup. We're such a hard team to play against now. Great stuff!

Good solid performance all round and we played some great passing football especially in the first half. On balance of play we should have had more goals, but while we are defending so well 1 is enough.only 4 goals conceded in the last 720 minutes. Howe seems to have lost a bit of confidence in front of goal, but his all round game again was great, he's not quick but he is strong and put in a good shift for the team, developed a good understanding with Billy.I kept waiting for The Cods to raise the tempo, but we harried them and they never really got going. Bournemouth are not unbeatable this season.

I guess Tommy Pickles and devonbrewer are too dizzy from doing cartwheels to comment on this result tonight.... ?

Great to hear those comments Porky...."fluent and entertaining footy"....almost dirty words so far this season, so long may this continue, instead of the grinding bores we've been subjected to! Didn't make it due to work but good result and I reckon Bournemouth are far from invincible this season?

I guess Tommy Pickles and devonbrewer are too dizzy from doing cartwheels to comment on this result tonight.... ? Oh yes cartwheels, back-flips and a backwards pike with a half twist! Only got to listen to the last half hour - but sounded as comfortable as you can be really. Gary and his team have done wonders with the defense this year. Nice to see Billy and Rene starting to rekindle their partnership, if they can click properly then we should be excellent at both ends of the pitch (and pretty good in the middle!). I wonder whether Billy is starting off on another one of his goalscoring spurge's? There's very little as dangerous in this league as when he starts to find the net regularly. Will McGurk get straight back into the side I wonder, with Howe, Kee and Mcdonald all finding some form? One other thought - I was gutted when Pickford got recalled (again!), I really thought he could be our version of Jack Butland when he was at Cheltenham (especially after his latter performances) - but fair play to Dean Lyness he's taken his chance with both gloves and been an important part of a very miserly defense, deserves his place.

Yes. This performance was so much better than last Saturday. I agree with the comments regarding individual performances, but would also like to add Rene Howe to the list. He caused their centre backs (both highly rated), plenty of trouble, which helps make more space for Billy Kee. Billy again scores the all important goal. Build on this you Brewers.

Rene was MOTM for me! All he needs is a goal. And a great save from Deano to keep it 0-0. Talking to some of them after the game, they were pissed because so many reserve squad players played?

I thought Ronald McDonald had a great game . Bustling, harassing and very determined . Great display from all though and difficult to pick out a MOM which for me is the way it should be .!
