Found the permutations for tomorrow online
Cheltenham will be relegated: If they fail to beat Stevenage If they win AND Burton win AND Cambridge avoid defeat
Burton will be relegated: If they lose to Fleetwood AND Cheltenham win If they draw AND Cheltenham win AND Cambridge avoid losing by more than two goals (if Cambridge lose by exactly three, they'd draw level with Burton on goal difference in this scenario; both sides start the day on 39 goals for)
Cambridge will be relegated: If they lose to Port Vale AND Cheltenham & Burton both win If they lose to Port Vale by at least three goals AND Cheltenham win AND Burton draw (defeat by exactly three goals would draw Cambridge and Burton level on goal difference in this scenario; both sides start the day on 39 goals for)
NB The next EFL tie-breaker after points, goal difference and goals scored is head-to-head results. So, in the not unforeseeable example scenario that Cheltenham win, Burton draw 0-0 and Cambridge lose 3-0, it would go to head- to-head between Burton and Cambridge who would have identical records. And Cambridge would go down by virtue of a Burton home win and a goalless draw at Cambridge in the head-to-head fixtures.

We need to play with the expectation that Cheltenham will win. Simple.

Obviously though, Burton win and nothing else really matters. (Except that I really, really want to see Cambridge relegated of course. The punts).

So this time tomorrow either it will be smiles at staying up or a complete meltdown at going down. I'd personally prefer the first option as the shackles will come off at the latter.
I think the most stressful outcome tomorrow would be both games sat at 0-0 after 85 minutes.. closely followed by Cheltenham going 1-0 up after 5 minutes.

It's certainly going to be a nerve wracking game and i'm sure there will be twists and turns along the way during the 90 minutes. I'm sure both managers will say concentrate on our own game and make sure we win but there is no doubt that news will filter through from the other game and the crowd reaction could play a part on how the players play. From our point of view it would be great to get ahead early(or even at all!) and then news filter through to Cheltenham and affect their confidence. Here's hoping!
I did read an interview with the new/caretaker manager of Stevenage who I think wants the job full time and said that they wanted to finish the season strongly and take some momentum into next season. Not sure about that but it suggested they were taking it seriously. I did see some of their game last week away to Oxford and I actually thought they looked decent and really could have won that one. Let's hope Craig MacGilvary and Kane Hemmings can do us a massive favour as I have a feeling we will need them to.
Keeping everything crossed!! COYB!!

There is also Ryan Sweeney’s brother who plays for Stevenage too so hopefully Ryan has given him his orders for tomorrow!

I'm just glad the weekend is finally here and this can all get sorted.
Do I think the Brewers can win? That depends on the team Mr Paterson puts out. How did we beat Reading, Martin? Hint, hint. We've done OK away from home recently too. I don't think we'll lose... but have we got it in us to win?
We've all just to do our bit and hope it goes the way we want. That is: Cambridge getting relegated!!!!

I think our Sweeney/Hemmings connection and Revell wanting the job could be a big plus for us. They will in theory be going all out for the win and not acting all Posh.

Got to go for a win, but will Pato revert to type and go with a back 5? I suspect he will and would accept that as long as the front 3 remain in place. That would mean 2 centre mids, I'd put my money on Deji and Harper, with Helm being left out.
We've got to go to win, we know a draw isn't good enough if Cheltenham get the 3 points. So let's hope we start brightly.
The final game (ever?) of the Championship will always haunt me, the drive home alone was unbelievably depressing. I sincerely hope the masses who are going today are singing with joy on the way back, a win in hand and another year in League One with the big boys.
C'mon you Brewers!

If Powell is definitely out I'd start Gilligan over Deji. In a high pressure game you can expect he'll do something reckless.

Gutted to not be able to make it today. Will be cheering the lads to safety (hopefully) from rainy Wales.

Looks a decent formation, the Deji start is unfortunate but he is long overdue a good game, and maybe a goal.

Stevenage have put a strong side out but are missing their top scorer.
