Another very good piece.
I remember a couple of months back people were questioning whether he should be left out.
No surprise that it's taken Ryan a couple of months to fully settle back into the English game with its intensity and it's hectic pace.
It took Scotty six months. It took Jackson four months.
For me he's an integral piece of our jigsaw and vital to the way we play on the front foot and pressing.
His style suits the way Nigel likes his midfielders to play and it really does guarantee goals, even for those players who may never have been "semi prolific" elsewhere.
Two comments stand out, one every team needs an Edwards and two he's more like Bryson than Irvine.
I fancy hell get anothe half a dozen and I've a feeling he might not be around as long as we hope. He's the perfect folly for a ball playing midfielder even bottom half of the Championship.
Unless we go up, as soon as a player gets anywhere above 500k in value we've got to look to cash in.
Ryan will make us some money over the next 12-18 months. Maybe not Jackson Irvine or Marcus Harness money but a profit is a profit.

Being the energetic player he is Sat= Tues can take its toll.and a good comparison to Bryson, he did have a spell when he struggled but tiredness or injury he needed a break. But he certainly has shown his value to the team

I always enjoy watching Edwards. He's a dog. Keeps working hard. I'd love to know average distances ran by each member of the team... He's surely up there.
He's like a Beavon in midfield.

He’s definitely improved as mentioned which could be down to fitness and playing regular.
Got to say he’s nearly won me over, but I just wish Reece could be trusted a bit more as he’s got so much potential.
