Boom! Take that.. 2 points from the play offs. Season very much on. I can't remember a more deserved victory for a while. They were dirty and got away with a great deal while our lads kept their discipline and grafted away. Fantastic. It's always sweet when you beat a cheat. !

Unless i'm mistaken, a win on tuesday means we're in the play-offs!

It certainly does. Joint 5th assuming Oxford lose the same night to Ipswich.

Not bad for a 0-0 written all over it result. We deserved that, better all round, on to Tuesday, it's looking up for that push up now.

How well did we play today, absolutely brilliant from the start and got the goal that we deserved! Having read the posts leading up to the game a lot had written us off. The work rate in closing down and pressing was outstanding with some really good passing play. Second half they did try and play the ball out from the back and get something going but they just couldn’t compete with us. We were just a yard quicker with Quinn running the midfield and Akins causing them all sorts of problems. It was like Men against boys at times. O’Toole made a massive difference at the back with his experience and rugged determination. Reece looked good when he came on also. Boyce must be on his way, Nige said in the post match interview that they turned one bid down last week, so...... What a game against a team with less fans than ourselves! Pleased for Edwards as he’s looking like he’s built his fitness up and his goal topped off a very good performance, his best game at home so far for me. COYB👍🏻

Overall we deserved the win today. Controlled the first half without really creating many clear cut chances. I thought we made hard work of the second half. We got what we deserved late on (although managed to pop to the toilet just at the wrong time 🤦).
Pleased we kept a clean sheet Pleased we picked up he 3 points (only 8 points of first place 🤔) Pleased sarkic had a big impact on the game
Thought both Reece and Joe were poor when they came on. Shoes the limitations we have on the bench.
Can't wait for Tuesday night.

Looking forward to the analysis from Cleetus and Frogmanny about our win including Jake’s performance in a clean sheet and win.
I won’t hold my breath.

Not trying to blow my own trumpet ( not much anyway :-) ) but I said we are usually at our best when our backs are against the wall after a blasting. That’s exactly what happened today. A brilliant performance and a massive win. We showed patience perseverance and determination and very much deserved the win. I can’t remember Fleetwood really troubling us at anytime. Congratulations to all the lads today that took a lot of character to bounce back from last weekend.

I thought we played very well first half and felt that 3 half chances went begging with balls across the face of the goal, that Boyce may well have stuck away. 2nd half I felt they reorganised to try to hang on to a 0-0 for as long as possible and then hit us on the break and we didn’t quite hit the same heights. I was ruing the lack of Boyce in the box and felt we would have to settle for a point but they are a big budget team and have some very good players, so that wouldn’t have been a disaster. But just shows what I know when Boyce turns provider and Ryan Edwards puts it in for a great 3 points. I do agree that we don’t have a strong bench at the mo and we are weakened when some of our subs are used. We do need a few more options for the 2nd half of the season if we are serious about pushing on and I’m sure that Nigel and the team are serious.

Games like today are just great to walk away with 3 points from. It had deteriorated into a fairly poor game and to snatch it was just what we needed... our long haired Aussies seem to be the only ones who score headed goals like that for us, it reminded me of Jackson vs Derby the first time around. Clough was as animated as I’ve noticed him today... the refereeing wasn’t great and he was also seething at a couple of shocking distribution moments from Mr Hutchinson. A few players weren’t quite their usual selves today — I’d count Lucas and Scott amongst them. I thought JJOT was good and Quinny put himself about nicely. I thought Boyce just looked a cut above everyone on the field when he came on, fair play to him. Obviously it feels that situation is now just a case of how long it takes and most importantly, how much we get. If we lost Fraser too it would sadly be an unprecedentedly brutal “one fell swoop” loss of such a vital pair of contributors. Reflecting on it today I think it’s a relatively weak League One this season, compared to some of the recent seasons where the likes of Bristol City, Sheffield United, Barnsley and Wigan have sometimes been high quality. There’s no standout side though Rotherham do seem to be coming good at the moment. So whilst I’d write us off on the basis on squad depth and high reliance on players we’ve got a high risk of losing, you just never know... (still can’t believe Observer was as good as right that we’d get £1m for Marcus Harness!)

Couldn't make today's game but well pleased with that. Just what was needed after the disappointment of last Sunday. Well done lads.

Deserved victory that but thought it wasn’t coming after the chances we missed, rarely do we have games where you could say there was 9+ good performances but we had that today.
We’ve rejected a bid for Boyce but great to see his head hasn’t been turned much by the performance he put in.
Hopefully we follow it up with a win on Tuesday and get ourselves up into the playoff positions.

The same goes for Sbarra but he had less time than Hutchinson.

I couldn't be there yesterday due to another upcoming exam I'm studying for so only have 2 minutes of highlights to go from.
It's hugely refreshing to see Fleetwood playing almost exactly the same style of football as they played when we met them many moons ago at Wembley, whilst we've developed into a footballing team who pass the ball well and play attractive football.
Bring on MK!

Great performance. Even if it'd ended 0-0, I'd have been happy with a return to form. As one fella said to me on he way out "Keiran O'Hara had nothing to do." Also agree with Westender that Reece had a good game. I also loved Joe going up for a header with their 6 foot 6 defender. Reach for the stars, literally.
Good day at the office. Great final performance (sorry) by Liam and a headed goal by one of the smallest players on the pitch against a team of giants.

Really enjoyed the game. Obviously made all the better by the result and 3pts. We could so easily have all gone home frustrated and disappointed but Boycey played a brilliant ball into the box and the endless running of Ryan Edwards managed to get on the end of it.
Long periods of possession, good patient, passing football. So many opportunities in and around the box that didn’t develop. It’s been the story of the season. Alarmingly perhaps so many balls drilled across the face of the goal mouth and nobody there to provide the simple tap in needed. Fleeetwood are very good side, this was a good win.
I don’t know what the situation is with Boycey. I’d want to say you’re under contract get out and play. He looked the really good footballer he is when he came on and as you’d expect ran his socks off and made the winner.
Bucko and JJT brilliant at the back. Won and/or blocked everything thrown at them. It’s our best pairing if injury free.
Already people talking of being 5th Tuesday night. Don’t think that; football always kicks you in the face!
