Looking around clubs with there anthems brought me to Burton the brewing capital of England, and of coarse the Beer Barrel Polka. The song and lyrics seems to flow, like our fine ales
Roll out the barrel Roll out the barrel of fun Roll out the barrel We got their team on the run Score for the brewers Bring out a song of good cheer Nows the time to roll the barrel While the fans are here

It would be in keeping with the club logo.

It would be in keeping with the club logo. Or you could say INN Keeping. As for the song, NO THANKS, I used to be a Drayman and the amount of times people would walk past and say "Roll out the Barrel" was enough to drive you to drink!!

Didn’t we run out to ‘Roll out the barrel’ at Eton Park in the Storey-Moore or Warnock years?

It used to be sang to Francis Lee in days gone by. For the younger ones on here he's not an Albion player.Eng,Bolton, Man City and Derby.
Club anthems don't have to be songs by Queen et al. West Ham still come out to "Bubbles", Everton "Z-Cars" and many many more.......not so fashionable tunes but just witholding tradition.

We sometimes run out to The Boys are back in Town, Thin Lizzy which is great. I also like The Liquidator, Harry J Allstars (Chelsea).

While we all agree to disagree and pick our own favourite tunes. Dont worry everythings go be alright, had a brief spell,by Bob Marley. Annie song---Robin Hood. Youll never Walk Alone, Anthems have to be simple and catchy, and mainly just a chorus, that brings the club it own identity. And it will be our fans in the Don Amott stand, with our drummer boy who decides, what chants we sing. be nice though for the club media and fans to give our club a personal Anthem

I quite like Jeff Becks "Hi Ho Burton Albion" of course that's not the original line but it got us singing that line when played. We'll have to nick it from the Wolves though.
