Win this and we'll overtake them and be back in the mix - just another win outside the play-off places (depending on how many points others pick up of course) Hope Stephen Quinn is back....

Quinny on the bench Tues and not needed, so most likely saving for a start Saturday.đź‘Ť Will be incredibly harsh on Wallace if he is the one to make way but Quinny has to be back in as soon as he's ready. I wonder if we'll see Wallace somewhere on the left hand side as a reward for his overall performances. The lad has done enough to warrant a place in the first eleven.

Maybe give Edward's a rest?

Maybe give Edward's a rest? Without raking up the past but it's difficult to resist. Not bad for a "non entity". People wondered why I bit so much? It was because the troll wouldn't recognize a decent player or a decent team if they were playing on his own back lawn. Wallace has been sensational wherever he's played and he's such a down to earth lad. His ball for Temps shows he's got more to his game than a lot of us give him credit for.

That was nowhere near his best pass of the game.
I thought it was his best game.
Quinn will be a plus to our team, he may not take Wallace's place though.

Quinn is first name on the teamsheet for me all day long. No matter how good Wallace has been, he won't keep Quinn out the team in the holding role. I would think wallace may drop in to left back instead of hutch at the weekend if Quinn is fit

Up the Brewers, can’t wait for Saturday’s game, thought we did ok but no more Tuesday... if I’m honest I felt it had that horrible sense of inevitability that a late undeserved equaliser was on its way but well pleased with a much-needed 3 points. Broadhead continues to look thoroughly decent to me, Boyce continues to not quite be what I thought he might be but it is what it is, Wallace impressed, Reece not rock solid just yet, blank advertising hoardings on the south side tells a story this year, “Christmas 2014 at the Pirelli” (during the 2015/16 season) not so bad after all with hindsight, small boys in the park, jumpers for goalposts et al. COYB.

Yes, he was a great captain. His current, self-interested views on county cricket and the 100, however, do him no credit at all

I thought it was telling that many of the great Aussie players of the last 15 years were on their balcony coaching this summer whilst ours were in commentary boxes. I’d like to see Vaughan step up and get involved but it looks unlikely to ever happen. Back to Blackpool, I heard it said on Tues that if we hadn’t dropped those 5 points in injury time in 5 days a few weeks back we’d be 4th with games in hand. Now would be a great time to piece some results together as it feels a critical period league wise — what’s still a tight picture at the moment will soon start to stretch out and define who’s up there and who’s not. Unfortunately we’ll be into another period of being dependent on away games.

Not too keen on Vaughan's political views either, but that would not stop me allowing you to buying us both a pint at SSC.

Blackpool home ground Bloomfield rd capacity 16-220, average gate 9-397.bringing in 4-5 million approx in gate receipts, so of coarse a lot more money has been spent on their squad. They sit 10th 3 points above Burton. Blackpool for many of us a place of joy and magic, they are one of the few clubs who could put thousands on a gate when Sir Stanley Mathews was playing, they have had 47 players who have represented their country 13 for England, and were in the Premier League in 2010/11. The club have been owned by the Oyston family since 1987 till 2019 in a time of much controversy, and the club was asset stripped putting 26-77 million into company's they owned. Simon Sadler the new owner and Simon Grayson the manager, with a statement of intent on how to move the club forward and promotion a priority and plans for the transfer window in Jan, so the club are moving out of the shadows. I expect just over 500 Blackpool fans and looking at Tranmere and Fleetwood Blackpool have players that can hurt you ,Dont Know who is injured for us but expect Boyce and Sarkic ,looks like bad weather and a wet pitch, We need 3 points, but going for a draw

I would have thought Brayford will not play tomorrow as we need him next week against Leicester due to Lucas being suspended for that game .

The A38 has been unkind to A38 getting home today, still on it in second tailback (not driving). Good game today, disappointing we couldn’t get some more quality shots in during that last 25 mins against 10 men but Blackpool were a well set up side. We do remind me at times this season of that Arsenal side a few years ago, always wanting to score the perfect goal. Definitely two points dropped but could have been worse af the end. Onwards and upwards. COYB.
