On Saturday Nigel said about Quinn's second card being very harsh ,and he was going to make a note of it and bring it to the attention of the Referee's association later in the year when refs don't give cards for similar offences .I've been watching tonight's game between Pompey and Birmingham ,one of the Birmingham players got booked in the first half and has made a terrible challenge in the second half .Free kick to Pompey and not a word to the Birmingham player .Unbelievable .

Bajrami it was, there was also a two footed lunge in from the young player Bellingham (Brum) which could have easily been red, it was yellow. Marcus Harness pretty quiet, one noteable good cross, a shot at goal and a few misplaced passes, also lightweight in the box, sound familiar?
I liked the way he improved last season with us it's early days at Pompey but he'll have to prove his position in the team pretty quickly.

inconsistently in referees will always be a problem, and the big clubs with huge support always get the benefit of doubt. Each ref has is own interpretation of the rules, even v-a-r-s can leave it open to interpretation, but is mainly more accurate
