Good to see the players building up their minutes towards 90 and also that Ryan Edwards was there with the squad. Not the greatest of games and a Brewers side that was way short of full strength, I was again worried that Stephen Bywater was our keeper, but he had a better game than against Derby. All in all a far better showing than witnessed at Solihull last season and with a couple more signings we will be ok.

I keep telling everybody mikeyboy we could not be in better hands. We will be fine . Nobody knows at this stage if we’ll be good enough to make the play offs. Obviously injuries etc play a big part for a club like ours . I do know though that this club will still be here for years and years to come and still be punching above its weight. I honestly think like you said another couple of signings and we won’t be to far away. Roll on 3rd August the wait is nearly over !!!! COYB

If its about building match fitness and game time.. Why are we persisting with bywater who will not be our keeper? He is past it and finished. A liability.

Basically because O'Hara is injured. Might see a change tonight though.

Think O’Hara was being rested for both, with a thigh strain. Ryan Edwards awaiting international clearance.
