An ex director of Bury was on TV today pleading for them to be saved. It was directed mainly to any prem club to give them a lifeline, some cash in other words to stave off winding up. I was thinking it was aimed at the two mega bucks teams not that far away. Pretty sad for the people involved in this club, the ones that have made it there club to support, the lifelong supporters, the ordinary folk that work there. It's D day tomorrow, I wonder if there is a saviour out there? Rochdale fans call them the Bucket Shakers given their repeated calls on others to save them. I have a feeling that most of the North West has lost patience.

Clocks ticking for Bury...
I don't think they'll be expelled. Unless their owner hates the club, and money. He's hardballing and has had 4 offers.
Their fans just want a stable club with a good, pragmatic owner. Their old one apparently used to be a local guy who did quite well for them, now he's left its all gone to pot.
The start of that paragraph is us, hopefully we don't become the latter down the line.

They may have 24-48hrs to let the latest deal get over the line. I'll remember this when the HMRC once again want money off me next year, can I pay you whenever?

Kick them out I say. I feel sorry for the fans, but if these clubs get away with it, it will only encourage other clubs to chance their luck. Just think, if we had gone down this line we could still be in the championship now. OR if Bolton hadn't gone down this line we could still be in the championship now. Kick them out now.

I’m not sure it should bother the real fans - they can still support their club in non-league can’t they? Living within their means.

How long left in the transfer window?
I see the numpty Dale has apparently accepted an offer.
If they are now allowed to go out and sign (or re-sign) a full squad and just carry on regardless it will be a disgrace and may just tip me over the edge football wise.
If them and Bolton aren't both relegated automatically, irrespective of what happens in the next few days it's a total joke.
Don't worry lads, you can't pay your bills, or your staff, or your players, or your manager. Just postpone a few games and for you two we'll make an exception and let the season start in September.
The competition has turned into a farce.

It's been a farce for weeks.
They will both be relegated, but as thexEFL has not yet announced the punishment for last season's failure to complete fixtures I wouldn't hold your breath.
The distortion will start in the next week or so. Both teams if spared will get players in and the League will as you say, be a farce.

All of this fake bullshit on twitter and in the news about it being a community club and they need to save it for the community. If the community cared so much you think they'd have come out to support their team last year in their droves. Their average attendance fell by 2.9% during a promotion campaign. I'll tell you what, how about we start a campaign to get other clubs or famous people to help bail us out 'cos we don't get enough fans to compete with the big boys either. Yet somehow we pay our bills and we make a tiny profit each year by doing things the right way. FFS it's a joke. If I was Ben I'd be getting a flashy lawyer to look into the possibility of suing the EFL for loss of earnings. Bolton AND Birmingham (AT LEAST) have cheated us out of a place in the championship. Not a peep, just a points deduction imposed retrospectively , when it's too effing late.

We might as well go out and buy Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar.
Can't afford it? Who cares. Worst that'll happen is a points deduction.
The whole season has to be rearranged for both them and Bolton, because they failed to run their club.
And it seems most the football community feel sorry for them? Lol.

,Bury your time is up, ,everybody has shown patience in abundance, and more time should not be on the table, The E_F_L has shown complete weakness, and brought the game into disrepute,The only option Bury no longer exist has a league club ,Wipe the slate clean,23 teams in league 1, Shortly to be 22,with Bolton flouting every rule. And to make football more interesting, any other club who flouts the rules, Tho selling your ground to adjust financial fair play rules, and many other grey areas to be found is still allowed

www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/bury-fc-sale-efl-deadline-16809117Says it all really, he ain't bothered, never had the club at heart. A shame really for the club, I'll be very annoyed if they get saved but sympathy for the fans, I think most of them have had it now with the club. All this latest farce about delaying the axe falling, they've been talking for 10 weeks and only at the final deadline day they come up with some sort of deal, a ****** joke.

If they are both allowed to continue here are the appropriate punishments:
-10 points for each unfulfilled fixture.
-20 points for unilaterally postponing a fixture.
Bury start on -62, Bolton on -72.
That would be about right.

The most recent accounts available for C&N Sporting Risk, up to the end of December 2018 show their net assets to be less of Stretton Social Club. And they appear to be in debt.
A lot can change in a year I guess.

The financial reports of the acquiring company, in my view, don't suggest a company of sufficient resources to make it work. Amazed that EFL hasn't worked this out.

I think that anyone that passed a fit and proper test to own a football club would have more sense than to buy one, let alone one like Bury or Bolton. Q. How do you make a small fortune out of a football club? A. Start with a large fortune.

How do you make a small fortune out of a football club? A. Start with a large fortune. Or buy a club for a £1 that has a lot of debts. Don't clear the debts but get a CVA in place. Sell the club for much more that the liabilities under the CVA. Or buy a club, like Bournemouth, spend way more than is reasonable, breach all FFP rules, get promoted to the Premiership, pay a paltry fine. Make millions (although unclear if the debt is ever paid off).
