Hi all, Tranmere fan here in peace. As newly minted league members, I'm looking to put together a fan-sourced and fan-made division wide round-up and was hoping I could find one or two of you willing to write something in the following format for Burton: **Club Name** Manager (or likely candidates) Tenure (of current manager if applicable) Ownership Situation: (appreciate this may run long for some in the division) Main Fan Forum: Star Player: Underappreciated Gem: Top Prospect: Potential 19/20 Breakout Year: Fan Scapegoat: Waste of Space: Dream Transfer Target: 18/19 Season Review: (< 200 words) Tactical Overview: (< 200 words) Plans & Priorities for Preseason: (< 200 words) Part One is here if you want to get an example of the sort of thing teams have written so far: ubifides.com/2019/06/09/the-leag...r-preview/If people are interested I'll post the part of the round-up with the Brewers in here once I've got a contributor. Ta lads.

Burton Albion - nicknamed the Brewers after the fine brewing heritage of the town. It is a great place for away fans. Manager (or likely candidates) - Nigel Clough Tenure (of current manager if applicable) - Arrived for the second time in December 2015 - taking over from Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and leading the club to promotion at the first attempt. Ownership Situation: (appreciate this may run long for some in the division) - Owned by Ben Robinson BEM MBE - in his second spell as Chairman, Mr Robinson has overseen the fantastic rise from the Brewers from non-League football to the Championship, all of it done by running the club properly, generally making small profits along the way. Main Fan Forum: This one Clough the Magic Dragon burtonbrewers.proboards.comStar Player: I genuinely don't think we have one. Underappreciated Gem: Stephen Quinn Top Prospect: Ben Fox Potential 19/20 Breakout Year: Fan Scapegoat: Steven Bywater - Nigel Clough Waste of Space: None Dream Transfer Target: I don't think I have one, I'm happy generally with what we have got. I probably won't have heard of anyone realistically we can afford. 18/19 Season Review: (< 200 words) - After relegation after two desperately difficult seasons in the Championship, the odds were against us. The financial rules on a relegated club with such a small fanbase mean that we had very little chance. Luckily we have an excellent manager and after a slow start, where we lost too many matches that previously we ould not have (call it a relegation hangover), we improved and finished quite well. Overall mid table was a good result. Reaching the semi-final of the league cup was just brilliant. Tactical Overview: (< 200 words) Some of the football we played last season was some of the best I have ever seen at the Pirelli, pass and move, Quinn being the fulcrum for this. I expect more of the same. I also expect us to do pretty similar to last season. I hope for an improvement, but I still think we will be a bit inconsistent, as we can get dragged down to a battle by teams that bypass midfield. Plans & Priorities for Preseason: (< 200 words) - Stay solvent, stay up. If that includes great entertainment and maybe a run the the playoffs, brilliant. Part One is here if you want to get an example of the sort of thing teams have written so far: ubifides.com/2019/06/09/the-leag...r-preview/ If people are interested I'll post the part of the round-up with the Brewers in here once I've got a contributor. Ian has pretty much nailed it! The only point I would add to is Dream signing, A goalkeeper, and a dream signing for me would be Nick Pope who has somehow found himself as Burnley 3rd choice keeper (not going to happen I know).
Burnley 4th choice keeper, one Adam legzdins.

Well done ian a a good review scapegoat Byewater, me i think he is a enigma, and Clough shame on the fans if he is a scapegoat. otherwise i agree with your post,as Clough says all players are for sale we just move on, our budget defines our actions.
