Interesting comment re: attacking options. "If one leaves then we will make do with what we have got, if 2 leave then we will bring someone in". I am sure he means: if sordell goes then fine, if we lose boyce as well then we replace.
Surely if boyce is the only one to go then we bring another option in?
Would be interesting to see Tyler walker back at the pirelli.

Would be interesting to see Tyler walker back at the pirelli. I'd agree with that. I'd fancy us to sign a centre forward if Liam left, obviously might depend on what we get for him. I certainly don't see us getting the same kind of fee we were offered in January. I wonder though it we might try and save the fee to pay the wages of a loan we wouldn't usually be able to aford. I wonder as well whether we may wait to see how young Tyler does pre-season for Forest. If he flies he'll be in their first 11, if he doesn't maybe Nigel's old mates Martin and Roy would look to do us a favour. I'd say we're in a much better position to get loans from Forest now those 2 are in charge. The other side of me would love to see Lucas up top for a full season. His unpredictability could be a huge asset, when he's on his game at times he's unplayable. From reading between the lines of Nigel's press interviews I'd say we're looking at starting the season without Boycey. I hope I'm wrong.

I’m sort of resigned to losing Liam. He will want to progress, probably in the Championship. If he stays and does well, he will go on a free end of next season most probably. We will cope whatever.

Or look at it another way, he stays and bangs in a few goals and departs for a fee in the next transfer window. As long as we don't lose money on him, great.
Of course we don't know what exactly NC has in mind nor Liam, just guessing but he always has a plan B.

Has Sordell ever been with us,he promised so much, but has delivered so little. On reflection would rather have kept Bevan at least he tried, and was a brewer. Many of us have issues we have to deal with, So if he is focused on his game Northampton will keep him. Clough did his best for a talent he gave gave him a 3 year contract which gave him security, But his talent remained dormant.Lets hope he does the right thing and leaves to continue his writing. Boyce needs a impact with one season out,and then adjusting to league 1 with a team losing players and a poor start. January is a good time to move, teams are looking for strikers .And we would get a better price. Northern Ireland still select him and will do so,if he is good enough. Akins is unpredictable, and Boyce is deadly with loose balls around the box==2 up front every time,Akins and Boyce cover a lot of ground ,and with Harness and Templeton.sounds good to me
