Ha. I only remember Tranmere because they were party to one of the worst games I've ever seen.
Burton vs Tranmere Boxing day. Snowing.
We scored one or two fairly early on. They almost literally gave up. They got relegated to non league that season.
Anyway, they're back. Hopefully we can ave 6 off them next year.

Nothing against Newport, but still pleased for Tranmere. I feel that they are another properly run football club. Good luck to them, except when playing us of course.

Tranmere have done well with back to back promotions. See them as a lower to mid table outfit in L1 but who knows, just look at us 3 years ago! Good memories of a sunny day on The Wirral winning 4-2 on the way to the league 2 title.

A club that reflects league 1 football they have a all seated stadium of over 16-000 and less travelling to the game.. Average attendance 6-600 in league 2 so once more twice our size, Keep filling the away end. Maths if we can get 3.000 and fill the away end, this would average 4-600,wow on the figures we still need 5-400 extra fans. League 1 =10-000 gate to remain competitive
