It’s a survey, and so it’s a fair reflection of those who responded (of course). There is capacity for more (family) seats as we very rarely sell out. The hit we take on the very few times we do is worth it. I’m rarely bothered by queues.

I thought the queues were OK this year... Maybe helped by lower attendances 😁

If it's the same survey I started to complete I gave up around halfway through. It was boring me to tears, it needed condensing down.

We have a ground built for our Conference days and catering outlets, toilets etc are not plentiful in the seated areas. To me it’s not the best and we bring stuff in to eat from the Co-op as it’s virtually impossible to get served at half time. That could all be additional revenue for BAFC.

With regards to food it has just occurred to me that we are one of the few grounds who don’t have any catering vans within the car park either. I would have thought that they would even lessen club income however if other clubs, equally sized clubs do it then there must be some advantage.

THe survey gives some indication on problem areas, food outlets and areas where ques are formed, But this is football and there is a lot of demand at halftime. Our conference ground seems to big for brewers fans, and arriving and leaving is like visiting a shopping moll that is not very busy. I am sure the club try to improve facilities, and maybe more catering can be a easy solution,There is plenty of room around the ground for catering vans.

I would question the logic of the club at times this season regarding the food outlets on the Pop Side. For some of the lesser supported games there would be both open and then with a bigger crowd just the one (eg vs Luton) resulting in some supporters coming back up with there grub a good 10-15 mins after half time. Hopefully that has been addressed.

I now can't be bothered. Why don't they have tea/coffee kiosks. From the non-league away days at places like Aldershot, the speed of service from catering vans was superb.

They haven't got a clue in the kiosk in the west stand. No urgency and no logical workflow. That's what you get with a bunch of kids with little experience I guess. Outsource it to people who know what their doing.

Plenty of staff - can’t organise themselves. Has got to be the longest wait to get a pie in the EFL. Could do with going to McDonalds for training.

I was lead to believe the serving staff in the food kiosks at the old ground were unpaid help, is that still so at the Pirelli?
They all seem to be youngsters in there these days, probably learning too so it does get a little slow and queues form.

The biggest difference between Eton park and Pirelli is that at Eton park you could still watch the game whilst queuing for food. This meant that the kiosks worked for almost all of the match as you would not miss any action and because of this the queues were never very long either. On top of that, you could also get a decent pint of beer in the Albion suite instead of the fizzy stuff they sell at the Pirelli.

An interesting survey but the statistic I’d like to know is what percentage of fans uses the refreshments facilities available. In 50 years of watching football I don’t think I’ve ever felt the need to buy a pie or a burger! If the pies or burgers are too pricey shop at the Co-op opposite likewise if you feel the same about the queues!
What sort of income stream do they provide?
Coming in off the A38, I have to say The Beech pub car park is rammed with away fans drinking and eating. I did use The Football Tavern though for a beer and if SSC was nearer I’d probably use that.
