Blackpool beat us quite comprehensively at there ground earlier this season but they have exactly the same form as us over the last 6 games (6 points), sounds like it should be a draw but I have a feeling we may just nick this one. Come on Boycey, goals please.

Their away fans will be happy for once too... Which I guess is nice to see.
I have a bit of a soft spot for Blackpool, our season can't really go anywhere but hopefully 3 points and any very minor relegation concerns can fade away.

Blackpool upset about dropping points against Donny, with them being only 3 points of the playoffs, will hope for a good result against the Brewers. 9 matches to go and i give up with prediction, Being at home should give us a advantage, and will relax when we have 6 more points in the bag This to me after 2 seasons in the Championship and 2 in league 1== 4 years of consolidation, Burton Albion have earned the right to be a established league 1 club.

Super win. Two up top seemed to do the trick.

Excellent win in horrible conditions and as comfortable a second half we've had at home in a long time. Should give a few players who have been off it recently confidence and hopefully we can go on a run before the end of the season. We are going to be involved in eight games before the end of the season and all will have something riding on it by the looks of things, mainly for our opponents, at both ends of the table. It would be nice if we could win the next couple and make things interesting for ourselves.
Looking at the the league table unbelievably the team below us Plymouth are only three points off the relegation zone! Today's result should banish any lingering relegation worries for us but you never know with this league.
Let's start looking up now rather than down and see where we end up. Well done lads!!

Much better today and we put away our chances. Must admit I was sceptical when I heard the team due to lack of width but it worked well. Boyce got a much needed goal which visibly gave his confidence a boost. Blackpool are not a bad side but we made them look very ordinary in the end.

I'm sure we have played better and lost (Gillingham?)
However, that was a good performance. Started quickly and got an early goal that really helped (9/2 as well kerching).
I think there was a nod or two to next season as well.
Looking forward to next Saturday...
If their 'keeper has done his Achilles, that his him for 6 months or so, I wish him the best.

Boyce is back!! Can't remember the last time I thought boyce had a good game. Great to see.
Clough has to get lots of praise for the system and team today. I have been critical of some of his decisions this season at times - hats off to him.
Thought miller had a decent game today. I like his pace and attitude.
I think Wallace could be an important player for us next season. Think he has a lot to offer and has filled in for Fraser well when bought into the team.
Look forward to next weekend

He scored a goal like he’d never been away Don’t have much more to say Now that the Boyce is here again” We’ve been asking if you were around where you were, where you could be found They’ve all been moaning behind the goal driving all the old boys crazy. The Boyce is back in town (The Boyce is back in town)”

Burton Albion 3 Blackpool 0 has a nice ring about it!
Good result, welcome victory and 3 points. Comfortable win if not the greatest of games. I’d always want to see two up front and it worked today certainly. It’s difficult to implement in our squad because it risks breaking up the midfield trio who have been so good this season or as with today’s formation you forfeit width which I find equally annoying. It’s something Cloughie needs to look at.
Jamie Allen had a good game. Blackpool were poor. The crowd at 2700 was disappointing. Too many fickle fans NG?!

However yesterday he was instrumental in the first goal with some neat passing on the left to create the space for akins cross. He went on a mazy run in the 2nd half and hit the target with a good shot. Overall his work rate is really good and moved the ball well.

Just listening to Nigel's aftermatch interview on ifollow and he mentioned that the squad were off to Spain for three days this week from some warm weather training. Alright for some!
I must admit I was surprised by this given there are no changing facilities at the training ground. Funds clearly being redirected in the wrong areas!!

I spoke to Will Miller after the game and he said that the only reason we didn’t win 5 - 0 was the lack of changing facilities at the world class international team training ground. Then he asked for more gruel and I shouted “MORE?” in a Harry Secombe / Brian Blessed style.

Perhaps in light of not being able to pay cash bonuses for the cup run this is a reward for the players using some of the funds generated from the Man City ties. Hopefully the Spanish facilities have been chosen for their changing facilities and canteen!
