A) very doubtful it is anywhere near £900k for the game with City B) very unlikely there was £200k from the previous games C) wage budget for the season £1.1 million? Ha ha, ha, ha, ha. Welcome Alex by the way. The figure of £900,000 is from Ben Robinson in recent interviews. We played Burnley, Villa, Midds and Forest plus the Shrews. £200,000 is probably conservative. The playing wage budget is actually £1.5m Which manager was in charge during that cup run pal? Who was the hero responsible for getting tiny little Burton Albion into the last four ahead of 88 other league clubs? Surely it wasn't the bully who has lost the plot and is destroying player morale?

If you generously say £20 a ticket average (And this is generous). That is only £640k, take off expenses (did you see how many stewards City had?) And then 45% of that + the TV fee... No way the wage bill is £1.5 million this season. No way at all. No idea where you get that from.

Dear oh dear you will take any help you can to try and prove a point you clown In terms if team moral all the players you refer to will be genuinely shocked and saddenec tonight i have no doubt but i think i wud prefer to talk to kyle or damian to find out how find out what they think bout the club buzzing. This has more to do about saving money than anything that goes on on the pitch. Btw why do you think cole was sent back to wigan and sordell has gone to the cobblers?

Blame me for posting facts all you want. You said Ben was doing intervies saying it was £900k, I posted a link, how do you turn me into the bad guy for that? How you get away with it i've got no idea. You've somehow managed to turn me into the forum whipping boy just 'cos I stick to facts. You're not just slightly wrong. You're wildly wrong, again and again and again. I have no idea why Cole and Sordell left, maybe you can enlighten me, it seems you have a contact feeding you info and I love an ITK poster as much as the next man. You really can't take someone asking you to back up your rants with real facts can you?

And if you think the ave supporter at the Etihad spent £20 you are even more deluded. Our chairman is keen to understate the revenue obviously. As for the other games in the cup run £200k Is a reasonable gestimate for 5 other rounds?

Sordell left because he didnt want to play anymore for the gaffa Cole because Quinn was refusing to sign after January if we kept him as he was stinking the place out

Who was stinking the place out? Cole or Quinn? If it was Cole then surely you'd be doffing your cap to the gaffa (gaffer) for getting rid. Blimey you're in a bit of a trouble causing mood.

And you continue to defend the club despite the obv error in this piece of business relating to turner. We win more games when he plays, that is a fact not an opinion and seeing as we have not brought in anyone new we are going to use the same alternative players in the squad who have been tried and produced poorer results. That my deluded mate is not good business by the gaffa...fact a good manager he maybe but he is no world beater when judging defenders that for sure. Warnock 😱😱😱

Warnock 😱😱😱 You skip from one issue to the next, ignore what I post and come back with another problem, so to be honest I never know where to start with you. You still try to claim you don't dislike the manager and don't want him fired but.... blah blah blah and 100 times more blah. Do you want me to come back with a list of the brilliant central defenders (especially) that he's signed over the years? Who was stinking the place out and is our chairman telling lies? I'm not arguing with you about Turner's ability or the fact I'd have kept him. No doubt you'll ignore that and come back with another complaint about me, the manager, the chairman or the club in general. What is it about Burton Albion that gives you pleasure?

Norah as Admin...
I can put this two ways.....
This forum is a place where we discuss things about the team we support and therefore in good and bad times we do so with good grace and respect forothers opinions. Please abide by these implicit guide lines as well as forum rules.
Or.
Calm down. This is not a place for personal vendettas. I really feel that egos are getting involved here and your personal battle isn’t good for the forum. And I will take action for the “greater good” if this continues.
If either of you want to pm me , and I do think you know who you are... attempt st humour.... then do so and we will discuss this . Now I am going back to sleep... it is almost 4am and quite frankly I have better things to do than to be typing this with my iPad under the bed sheets so as not to wake Mr T up, or even worse disturb him which will cause him to start snoring....

I’m sad to see Ben go and I wasn’t expecting it at all. Good luck in the future Ben. An honest, hard-working centre-back who has been such a credit to the club since he signed. I don’t know the reasons but I’m guessing if he goes now he can tie himself up a nice little earner with a Champ or League 1 club. Goodness knows how much of a pay cut Brayford, Buxton and Boyce (amongst others) must have taken to stay at a poorly supported League 1 club.

Nige had got too be concerned about Ben keeping fit with the niggling injuries he picks up. Suppose you have too be realistic as to how many games he would play this season without another injury? We all recognise this is an area that needs strengthening especially now with Ben leaving. Surprised we've not found a decent CB loan to fill the gap? COYB 👍🏻

Welcome Alex by the way. The figure of £900,000 is from Ben Robinson in recent interviews. We played Burnley, Villa, Midds and Forest plus the Shrews. £200,000 is probably conservative. The playing wage budget is actually £1.5m When Albion were promoted from League One in 15/16 the wage bill was £3.6 million. At that time the biggest in the history of the club. Ben Robinson was interviewed on Radio Derby before the home game against Manchester City, and said that the first team playing budget this season was well in excess of the figure from last time we were in League One.

Sorry to see Ben go. A great player for us. I do not see a club being in any way poorly run bringing this about. I do not see hidden agendas, I trust our manager and chairman to do whatever is necessary to run this football club in the club and supporters best interests.

Really do agree with posts by Ian Mac, Brixham, Ilson, Craig1 and Claymillman.
I wish Ben well, he’s been fantastic for us and us him. Hopefully he can find that final 2 year deal more easily this way and on a little more money than we can afford.
All teams evolve and players know this.
It's not a case of one defender being any better than another it's about doing what is best for the future of the player and club in January 2019.
The statement by the club on this is a really good read and is fair to Ben and Burton Albion.
Good luck Ben.
