Great news, 18 month deal too, I think that is really important and shows, once again, our club's ambition.

This is great news not only for the rest of this season but it also sets us up for next. It's actually great to see that we are extending contracts for key players before the season comes to an end as I would imagine that certainly Lucas and possibly Quinn could be in high demand once the season finishes. Let's hope this is the start of things to come where we start get players signed up before the mad scramble starts at the year end. In fact off the top of my head I think it's only the keeper and defenders that our out of contract at the end of the season and most of the forward players are already contracted which is great.

Strange news this after the criticism in public of his players ,So many of them are signing new contracts,Quinn only to happy to stay for another 18 months. In 5 years time we will still be a small club punching above out weight,But players feel proud of being part of Burton Albion FC,,knowing they can move on to a future in the game ,with a solid foundation behind them, and older players enjoy their involvement in a well run club. Quinn is very good news, And once more the ramblings of Royston have no foundations,The dressing room is not lost, and when the gaffas not happy, you know it, Players do not run Burton Albion players come and go, managers remain,The Chairman and Manager are the foundations,The fan base is loyal, but we do pick up a merry go found pundit on our journey. Our players must be mugs to allow the manager to be critical of a bad performance or are they bright enough to know it themselves , Players do not get contracts at this club,They earn them. And like the others Quinn has earned his.

Completely agree NC is very choosey when he recruits players character and attitude.I am not surprised at all players are signing new contracts at least they know how they stand with NC and if they don't like its off they go.There is and always has been a certain number of fans who have no time for NC and will jump on him for anything. My opinion on this Trev is NC is not always correct in what he says and does but at the end of the day he aint done a bad job has he. ??
