Not another poll surely!?
I’ve read the Forest owners have their replacement in place and it is not NC.
I think this issue is yesterday’s news.
Move on.

There's no way their new owners would consider him, rightly or wrongly.
They are owned by a Greek guy who owns Olympiakos who would likely go for some fancy dan foreign manager over a steady as you go type manager like Nigel.

I actually think Aitor Karanka is a steady as you go foreign manager in the mould of our Nige. Like 99% of managers he just needs time but unfortunately it's something he is unlikely to be given. Think our Ben has it right and just gives people time to get on with it and most of the time it works out.

Thinking of sacking Karanka would show the owners haven't a clue, and devalue the job at Forest.he is their man and have invested millions to move the club forward. Any manager deserves 3 years to turn a club around. unless performances over a season really deteriorate, and then the chairman has failed in his recruitment . in this case he will turn to a high profile manager to exonerate his cock up ,Nigel Clough does not fit the bill of a my way==or highway, know all owner

I would not be surprised to see Bolton sack there manager soon and NC would definitely be there sort of manager. They too have a very tight budget

They too have a very tight budget I don't think the Bolton job is an attractive one Forest right now would be for sure. But as others have said he's unlikely to be offered it. The Forest fans don't want the manager they've currently got to be sacked either.

From listening to the comments made today even a win for Forest today leaves the manager in peril of the big heave ho.
Feet under the table firmly for NC at the Pirelli, I truly believes he loves the club and all about it to be messing with the likes of Forest just now, all they want is instant success.

Maybe I'm just naive but I think the way he was treated at Derby & Sheff Utd has put him off going on the merry-go-round again. For now.

Forest are seventh in the championship just outside the playoff places. About the same as Birmingham were when they sacked Garry Rowett for some fancy foreigner. I love the way history repeats itself.

Sorry but the Forest owners like to run the club with a Head coach not a old fashioned manager,Very few clubs today employ managers, yes men earn big money and the holiday pay is fantastic, a 3 year contract for 8 months work,The club i thought for Nigel- Notts county a club that could sustain Championship football. But after the farce of sacking Nolan, they have 3 managers in 1 season,So even the magpies, are on the merry go round. See on the Derby forum they still debate on clough ,shows the job he did there is still acknowledged ,they are still waiting for the promised land. What would he have done with a 44 million budget, and a healthy wage bill. Give Man City a good run

The ex Fulham manager favourite apparently, don't ask me to spell his name, he won't be there long so I won't bother. Also Mr Rowett in the running, don't think that will go down well there

Nigel will stay.
If not, Ben will sort it.

Nigel misses out again.
Martin O'Neill set to be appointed today which as you can imagine has received a mixed reception from the Forest faithful.
Not sure whether Nigel will be secretly disappointed but it's good news for us at least.

I think you only miss out if it's something you wanted to do?

I think you only miss out if it's something you wanted to do? Now there's a question!! Probably worth keeping this thread open as it is always relevant every 9-12 months, normally around January time!

I think you only miss out if it's something you wanted to do? That's debatable he knocked it back when he was offered it saying he didn't feel it was the right thing to do at that time.
