Hello all😊.
As explained in the other thread, i am a Leeds fan who has started going around fellow Championship club forums over the last week or so, asking questions, having a discussion and posting it back on our forum. 😀
Meant to post before the game just never got a chance, for that reason i wont ask directly about the game.👍
So here we go.
1). Nigel Clough, 3 promotions under his leadership, is he the man to take you all the way to the top? 2)In between Nigel taking you into League 2 and taking you into The Championship there was a LUFC hero who took you into League 1, just how much credit does Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink deserve for where you are now? 3) As well as JFH and Clough Jnr you were managed by the extremely highly rated Gary Rowett for a spell, back to back play off defeats before he left for Birmingham, if the opportunity arose for Gary to return would he be welcomed back? 4) How the hell do you get Clough, Jimmy and Rowett and in that time we have had such tactical geniuses as; David Hockaday, Neil Redfearn and Darko Milanic?😂 5)Jackson Irvine was in my opinion your standout player whenever i saw you play, just how big a loss is he? 6) Liam Boyce arrived with a big reputation and became your record signing, unfortunately injured for most of the season, just how excited are you by his signing? 7) Luke Murphy, still highly thought of up Leeds way, maybe never reached the level many expected but still a quality player at this level, how impressed have you been with him? 8) Your player to watch this season in your side? 9) Your player to watch in the rest of The Championship? 10) Which games are you most looking forward to? 11)Which games do you fear the most? 12) Who do you see being the 3 teams to win promotion? 13) And finally, who do you see being the 3 teams who will go down?.
That is all, sorry it was 13 questions (unlucky for some) but i couldn't think of anymore at this time of night😂😊

1). Nigel Clough, 3 promotions under his leadership, is he the man to take you all the way to the top? We are at the top, in fact beyond the top of where we ever expected to be. He is the man to try to keep us there. 2)In between Nigel taking you into League 2 and taking you into The Championship there was a LUFC hero who took you into League 1, just how much credit does Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink deserve for where you are now? JFH did brilliantly, and it is always difficult to qualify what he did by saying he inherited a very good team from Gary Rowett and improved it. The extent of the improvement is debatable. But without a doubt JFH has had a huge positive influence on our club. 3) As well as JFH and Clough Jnr you were managed by the extremely highly rated Gary Rowett for a spell, back to back play off defeats before he left for Birmingham, if the opportunity arose for Gary to return would he be welcomed back? Absolutely - Rowett did a brilliant job, he'll do similar at Derby if given time (as Clough would have done if the short sighted imbeciles in charge of the club had let him) 4) How the hell do you get Clough, Jimmy and Rowett and in that time we have had such tactical geniuses as; David Hockaday, Neil Redfearn and Darko Milanic?😂 Ben Robinson 5)Jackson Irvine was in my opinion your standout player whenever i saw you play, just how big a loss is he? Big a 7.89 out of 10 loss. 6) Liam Boyce arrived with a big reputation and became your record signing, unfortunately injured for most of the season, just how excited are you by his signing? At the moment I couldn't give a monkey's chuff as he can't play. When he signed I was moist. 7) Luke Murphy, still highly thought of up Leeds way, maybe never reached the level many expected but still a quality player at this level, how impressed have you been with him? Very and I think we will see the best of him during the rest of this season. 8) Your player to watch this season in your side? No one, we are just a team. 9) Your player to watch in the rest of The Championship? No idea, not interested in other teams. 10) Which games are you most looking forward to? Derby at home, and the one where we secure our Championship survival. 11)Which games do you fear the most? The ones that charge the fans £37 to watch the game. 12) Who do you see being the 3 teams to win promotion? Not bothered. 13) And finally, who do you see being the 3 teams who will go down?. Don't care as long as we are not one of them. Read more: burtonbrewers.proboards.com/thread/3148/come-peace#ixzz4sEAqC2e7

I would have to say I agree with all Ian Mac's points. I say that rather than fill in my answers, very much spot on in my sentiments. For 10) I might add Forest and Leeds.

1). Nigel Clough, 3 promotions under his leadership, is he the man to take you all the way to the top? We are at the top, in fact beyond the top of where we ever expected to be. He is the man to try to keep us there. Fair point, but surely now you are where you never expected to be there is no harm in hoping for even more? 2)In between Nigel taking you into League 2 and taking you into The Championship there was a LUFC hero who took you into League 1, just how much credit does Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink deserve for where you are now? JFH did brilliantly, and it is always difficult to qualify what he did by saying he inherited a very good team from Gary Rowett and improved it. The extent of the improvement is debatable. But without a doubt JFH has had a huge positive influence on our club. Good to hear, lot of love for JFH, wanted him as our manager not that long ago, not now but hope he does well at Northampton. 3) As well as JFH and Clough Jnr you were managed by the extremely highly rated Gary Rowett for a spell, back to back play off defeats before he left for Birmingham, if the opportunity arose for Gary to return would he be welcomed back? Absolutely - Rowett did a brilliant job, he'll do similar at Derby if given time (as Clough would have done if the short sighted imbeciles in charge of the club had let him) Got a 50% winning streak going there at the moment, watched the highlights yesterday and they looked very impressive, good manager Gary, one of a few good young managers in this division. Poor old Birmingham sacked him dropped like a stone and are hoping old Arry can inspire someone once more. 4) How the hell do you get Clough, Jimmy and Rowett and in that time we have had such tactical geniuses as; David Hockaday, Neil Redfearn and Darko Milanic?😂 Ben Robinson He certainly knows how to pick a manager. 5)Jackson Irvine was in my opinion your standout player whenever i saw you play, just how big a loss is he? Big a 7.89 out of 10 loss. Not quite enough for a 7.90?6) Liam Boyce arrived with a big reputation and became your record signing, unfortunately injured for most of the season, just how excited are you by his signing? At the moment I couldn't give a monkey's chuff as he can't play. When he signed I was moist. Well thats nice to know 7) Luke Murphy, still highly thought of up Leeds way, maybe never reached the level many expected but still a quality player at this level, how impressed have you been with him? Very and I think we will see the best of him during the rest of this season. Wouldnt be surprised, good player if given game time consistently.
8) Your player to watch this season in your side? No one, we are just a team. Fair enough, good answer
9) Your player to watch in the rest of The Championship? No idea, not interested in other teams. Not even rivals 10) Which games are you most looking forward to? Derby at home, and the one where we secure our Championship survival. Lets hope a different Derby turn up to the one Hull got
11)Which games do you fear the most? The ones that charge the fans £37 to watch the game. Agreed12) Who do you see being the 3 teams to win promotion? Not bothered. Nottingham forest, Derby and Villa?
13) And finally, who do you see being the 3 teams who will go down?. Don't care as long as we are not one of them. Read more: burtonbrewers.proboards.com/thread/3148/come-peace#ixzz4sEAqC2e7

That's the mentality we need teams to have when they play us. Fortunately a lot do! Leeds didn't on Saturday...

Bolton are horrible to watch but they were the last team to score against us in the league, there big lump up front is useful for there style. Didnt see the game but from what i was told it wasn't that you played poorly, just we were brilliant. Pointed out on our forum that actually you guys had played some fancied sides this season and though not got as many points as you may have hoped you hadnt played poorly once, that was in response to the "its only Burton" that other clubs fans had been saying. As you say that attitude will probably see you surprising quite a few teams this season.

If we can keep going who knows we might overtake you by beating you on Boxing Day. What do you think?

To be fair, as runs of fixtures go, those don't look that bad!
