3-0. Penalty for a push in the box.
Damage limitation now I fear.

Yorkshire Evening Post twitter account pretty much admits Ayling asked for a penalty for a tug on his shirt and it was given. One you'll see 5 or 6 times a game that gets completely ignored.

In all honesty as much as I don't want us to, we are going to get some right batterings this season with our defence.

It's good...but it's not quite Bristol Rovers.
Pointless dwelling on that whooping. Clearly lost to a FAR superior team. Out the system quickly and on to Carrow Road on Tuesday night please.

Any glimmers of hope from Allen or Mason...? can't judge either of them on that game Swervin, which is probably just as well. Scannell was another who wasn't great even on those brief occasions he got to see the ball. Lucas had his worse game of the season with nothing sticking. Mason was anonymous, Allen can play but didn't look to be any better than Palmer at picking it up and getting us going. Our midfield looks a bit light weight with Jackson and Luke. I'd expect Allen to drop to the bench for Tuesday and he'll have to wait for another opportunity, he wasn't bad but showed very little that he's good enough to oust any of the current first choice. We didn't have enough of the ball to make any kind of judgement on either. What I can make a judgement on though is this, I never have a go at NC or his staff, I never ever think I know anywhere near as much as they do, I'm a million miles away from them football wise.. but. For gods sakes Nige STOP playing Kyle McFadzean as the ball playing anything, he's not a ball playing centre half and he's not a ball playing midfielder, we should do everything we can to keep the ball away from him unless it's for him to head it or kick it. It's starting to really worry me that anyone thinks he can play. His reaction at being subbed was poor as well. Here's a tip Kyle, if you don't want to get taken off, stop giving the ball away and putting us under pressure when we're already getting over run. Poor day lads and lasses but got to be fair to Leeds, they were sensational until they started cruising. I think I may just have watched one of the automatic promotion chasers wipe the floor with us. I watch a lot of the championship and so far Leeds are the best side I've seen, with better individuals as well. Our back four looked dead on their feet by the end of the game, Bray was so knackered he had to go and stand up front with 5 to go, if we'd have had another sub Warnock would have come off as well. Worrying that we've got to go to Norwich on Tuesday where we could easily take another hiding. All we've got to is concentrate on not letting ourselves get cut off in the bottom 3. We've got to stay in touch.

Ripley soon...?

Hello everyone☺☺☺ Broomo, your knowledge is very impressive but i have been asked to point out that the chant for Gary Monk isnt positive and there are some err, Colourful words that go with his name. Long story short im a member of the MOTforum and im going around asking Championship rivals a few questions, having a bit of a discussion and reporting back. To tired now but I'll do a thread tomorrow and good luck (not to much) for the game. For anyone interested. www.motforum.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=34686&start=20thanks for the compliment cjay. Noted on the Gary Monk chant, and I'm pleased it's a p-take song rather than one full of affection. The new bloke is clearly an upgrade (in my opinion). He deserves your backing and idolisation much more than Monk ever would have. Although if he keeps "not" waving with 34,000 singing his name at 4-0 up, he'll soon be reminded he needs to up his game :-) Don't want to jinx you boys but I think I've just seen a side who will make the top 2. The last time I said that and was confident was Bournemouth (and I think they were siting 9th at the time). Some of the one touch stuff you're playing is really good to watch, Cooper and Janssen look really solid, O'Kane dictates things nicely and then you've got the flair players, good enough to murder a lot of sides, if you hadn't have just handed us a real lesson I'd have probably enjoyed a couple of your goals. Disappointingly, we were awful, didn't do ourselves justice and never got going. I think if you lot hadn't have taken your foot off the gas it could have been a cricket score. All the best for the rest of the season, can't see you dropping out of the top 6 from here on in, hope we give you a better game at the Pirelli.

Ripley soon...? Not sure really, you'd expect so after a 5-0 drubbing but Steve didn't do much wrong at all, just no protection in front of him. His kicking needs to be a bit more accurate when we've only got Akins challenging for it but his general play was ok, he made a great save at 2-0 down. I'd quite fancy NC to keep faith with the majority of the side if they're fit. The two changes I expect to see are Dyer back in for Warnock (who was struggling towards the end) and Murphy in for Allen. Give the boys a chance to put it right.

Ive been to everyngame and have too say i tnink we are poorer tnis season than last. The new players are not improving us. I am annoyed Kyle is getting stick. What has he done wrong to lose his place at the back? I have to say it he is a better centre back than Jake and thats how it is for me. I think NC has given the captaincy to a player who hme will eventually have to exclude. Ditto Steven Warnock. They both look like this level is just beyond them.

The back four/five, simply have no legs. McFadz/Buxton/Turner and Warnock cannot run, one burst of speed or a turn from a half decent striker leaves them all chasing shadows. Add to the fact that McFadz is being forced into a position just in front of them that he is clearly useless at, why Nigel? I'm not particularly suggesting I want him in the back four either as he is a liability but at least play him in his right position eh.
Brayford as good as he is cannot cover our entire back line, he's not as quick as he once was, as he's had some nasty injuries himself the last few years and will end up doing something again if he's forced to keep covering for others all game.
