Another ex Brewer rescues the Rams ...... If NC got us promoted this season they wouldn't dare try it again, would they? I don't think he would go but nothing the Sheep do would surprise me!

I don't think he would go back there , he was not too happy at the way they got rid of him , and I would expect a new man to be installed sooner rather than at the end of the season as they have said .
Plus David Moyes was in the stand at Fulham on Saturday apparently .

I don't think he'll even consider it. I'd prefer to think he'll be with us next season and beyond, whatever league we're in .

^^^ Some obviously do, they have started a thread about them.
Whatever the experts say on here, we are safe, calm down, carry on.

Local media has to take a portion of the blame for his sacking. Unfortunately due to the fact that I work with some Derby fans I was subjected to the amateuristic dross of Ed Dawes and Craig Ramage last Tuesday. I have to say they did an excellent job of ramping up the negativity surrounding the club's current form and seemed to almost fan the flames of rumours of Clement's job being under threat. If you'd heard the utter disdain they treated him with in post match interviews you'll know what I'm talking about. It's things like that that get into the ears of supporters and staff at a football club and before you know it the members of the board start thinking...
Modern football is totally lost on me. No one has time anymore. You're given 15 minutes and if it's not working then you're not good enough. It's all pressure and no enjoyment, Thank you Premier League and Sky...

Wassall will only be caretaking until they introduce another "big name."
Wassall was only coaching kids at Soccer Stars not that long ago so I doubt he's head coach material just yet?

You would think so but they've officially announced he's got the job til end of season which kind of restricts them or makes them look like they have no real plan if they do decide to bring someone else in Strange They could have just said he's caretaker manager without mention of how long to keep their options open

(His highly regarded support team, Craig Shakespeare & Steve Walsh, of course, remain at Leicester and would be unlikely to move to join him any where right now, I suggest) I do hope we're playing and beating the Rams in the Championship next season tho......with our Nigel guiding the Brewers to a miraculous victory.....

Strange in just over 2 years a stable club sacked a manager, brought on board, a director of football and a new recruitment policy, All this failed, and still in the championship after 18 months they had moved from 10th in the league up to 8th. So the new Head coach of international stature Steve McClaren was sacked and the director of football went with him ,and of coarse the coaches as well. Next multi millionaire Mel Morris, bought the club from the american owners,,and invested 30 million on the squad, and brought in the brightest head coach paul clements, with a impressive c-v.Time would be allowed ,he could become the next Alex Ferguson, and no more would this club be ruled by a dictator, and the recruitment policy would remain with clubs selection committee,of After months of painstaking research.Clements lasted,6 months,And now Wassell with the chairman will run the club, Meanwhile the man who started this turmoil Sam Rush the C-E-O, is on a 5 year contract ,and more millions spent on paying Clements contract up. Why watch the soaps on teli

I would be surprised if it is a genuine 'till the end of the season, if that is the case I can only assume they are waiting for someone special.

I think there is more to this than meets the eye. So I suggest don't try analysing.
