I was looking at some pictures online of the football tavern, on the other side of the car park. How long had that been there?
We started going to Eaton park just at the end of John Barton's reign 98 and always went in pre match for a few pints.

We started going to Eaton park just at the end of John Barton's reign 98 and always went in pre match for a few pints. Before the Albion bought it , it was known as Eton park social club. Members only . They had a bowling green if my memory serves me right. It had been stood for a few decades. I can remember teaching my oldest daughter to drive in the car park there.

The nearest team pic I could find to when we first started supporting the Brewers (1998) From what I've gleened it's around 1999/2000 season. Got most of them (names) some are dead easy, can you name most of them, or are you struggling with the odd one?

I don't remember his name but he was at Northwich Vics for quite a while, never playing but hilarious in the warm ups standing in front of there no 1 keeper trying to get involved , we couldn't believe it when he showed up at Eton park albeit for a very short while.

I think his name was Mark Jones. Sure he also had spells with Bromsgrove Rovers as well.
That was the first full season that Nigel was in charge. For some reason the photo was taken at Branston Golf Club!
