JFH as good as confirmed gone. Oldfield is speculated to be on his way with him.
So, who would you like to replace him?
I guess the favourite is Clough, but is he the best man for the job?

He's a very charismatic manager to say the least...! I think that it will be Clough as he's been at our last two games.
I'm also significantly less hopeful of our promotion chances now.

I can't imagine even acknowledging or speaking to him to be honest.

I'm not sure which is the harder job as a manager; taking over a team near the top of the league or one that is rock-bottom and needs root and branch changes throughout. Notwithstanding that, Nigel is the man for me for the reasons that I wrote in another post. He'll be 7 years wiser and more experienced than in 2009. The Derby fans that wanted him out were predominently those that phone up Radio Derby on a Monday evening. As for Sheff Utd. 8 managers in as many years says everything.
In Ben we trust.

Cloughie, Oldfield or both would do me.

I agree - In Ben we trust. JFH was a rank outsider for this job, nobody had heard of him. Now look at us

In addition to all that has been said I would think Nigel's mind set, brand of football and tactics would suit the current squad, but as I have said on another post I think Ben will advertise the position and see who applies, covering all his options. Its then up to Nigel to apply.

If anybody fancies a left field gamble wait and see what odds Danny Higinbottom is priced up at.
By the way, typing this whilst watching the crap being served up at Reading, there is time to change your mind Jimmy

And they found a man of the match. Keeper fumble of the match more like.
No Jimmy, must be at home with his chicken, lamb and rice. Can afford steak next week at a Bernie.
