Back where we belong ? My thoughts mirror a lot of what the others have said. I think we could have had a couple more in the first half if it wasn't for their keeper making some really good saves. The referee was a joke. He pushed back every Burton throw in. When Millwall had one which went out next to the linesman (a visual marker for where it should be taken) he took it 15-20 yards away in his own half! Absolutely unbelievable. Their player on a yellow studs up challenged our chap. No punishment. There was also a couple of entire team scraps. Their fans are dire. Made no noise and just wanted a fight when their man got sent off. On the whole, however, we deserved the win. Nasser played really well with a few flashes of brilliance. Their right back got terrorised. The 1st goal was a little training ground manoeuvre. The second a great bit of play between Duffy? And Nasser. We're top of the league

Further to my above post,
Said studs up tackle player, also booted butcher in the face.
One of the other fracas was due to their player seemingly elbowing timmy when he was on the ground after the tackle. Both player, yellow car.
My favourite moment other than the goals: A drop ball for Millwall in the 6 yard box. First time I've seen a scrum in football. Burton had 10 men behind the ball... Drop ball was given for the ball being unplayable as our defenders dived on top of it.
Also enjoyed a full sprint diving header from a Millwall guy who completely missed the ball but probably jumped over 3 Metres which was impressive....!

Just in terms of Langford, I thought he was poor, occasionally not up with the game, inconsistent with getting throw ins/free kicks in the right place. Showed two yellows early doors to Millwall which were a bit soft but then was not consistent. Saville was lucky to not get a second yellow before HT. Just seen the Beevers 2nd yellow, on first view, fortunate it was not a straight red!
Linesman on the pop side appeared to give one decision all evening. I know they speak to each other but no visible signs to the crowd he was engaged and making decisions. For me referees need to be inclusive of their team and encourage them to be part of the decision making. Elleray though brought in a form of refereeing where he was in charge and he made the decisions (offsides excepted). Langford seemed to be from the Elleray school, a backward step IMHO. Completely different to the young ref we had on Saturday who did a great job and I guess is in the fast track.
As for the game, I think we bored them to death for the first 30 mins, then two bits of quality led to two good goals, we should have had more but for great 'keeping and defending.
Slightly disappointed in the second half, but absolutely no complaints.
Thank you Jimmy, good luck if you choose to move in.

A good result but I felt for long periods we were outfought in the middle of the park and we offered little up front. The goals were as good as we've seen this season. The ref was poor, very poor but Millwall could easily have nicked it.

Ref on Saturday was brilliant but then again he didn't have to deal with petulant idiots who favour shithousery over their undoubted talent. If Millwall concentrated more on football and less on trying to end players seasons they'd be higher in the table.

Well it is always worth the 3 hour trip when we come away with 3 points! First 20-25 minutes was pretty dull but we turned on the style with 2 very well taken goals and it could of easily been three just before half time.
They were the much better side in the second half and put us under a lot of pressure but was good to see the lads hold on for all 3 points.
For me O'Conner was the man of the match. Didn't put a foot wrong all evening and won nearly everything in the air!
Ref had a shocker for me. Could of easily been 2 red cards in the game and the inconsistency throughout was poor but who cares WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!

O'Connor gave away the corner, which resulted in their goal. We heard the shouts for Ant to leave the ball (let it go for a goal kick) l guess it's a clear the ball away for Ant to be safe as he most likely couldn't take that risk. He and Callum Butcher were having a right old set to with one another going back to the halfway line, not happy bunnies.

For the first 20-25 minutes I thought we had re-signed sharps, hoof, hoof ,hoof. We scored 2 very nice goals, a set piece Duffy to Damo and in. The second was a very good count attack, Naylor-Nasser-Duffy-Nasser and in. Overall I thought Milwall were as least as good and probably better on the night. both teams were a bit dirty, them more so than us, and Saville should have had a second yellow at 44mins for the challenge on Flanagan.... And Butcher certainly could have had gone for the studs up challenge in the 85th. Phil(?) should have been booked for falling on the ball in our box, penalty if he handled, IFK if he didn't. And they perhaps should have had a pen when Moose high-footed O'Brien in 2nd half. Both keepers made some excellent saves. Anthony was MOTM for me as well, thought he played that role very well, think he played there most of last season at Plymouth. But hey, 20 games in and we are top of the league! -- Lee Gregory who came on at halftime was the player who scored 30 goals for Halifax town a couple years ago, they paid £250K for him.
