Walsall tied at 2-2 is good for us. Puts us in second place ties on points just goal diff holding us back from outright first place COYB

Great 3 points, sounds like the defence performed very well.

Great away win and Walsall scoring in the 91st minute actually puts us equal with them on 32 points!
Gillingham drop to third and we go second on goal difference...a couple of pints of Bass to celebrate I reckon!

Looked like a relatively even game. Glad we won.
Bring on the thugs.

Nice goal from curly and good pressing from Naylor. A couple of decent saves by Jono Looks like we're not the only team having trouble finding the onion bag.

Another solid performance and yet another clean sheet!
Also, reading what the Oldham fans had to say on twitter was rather amusing! Still find it hilarious that so many teams in this league expect to roll us over and loosing to us is quite frankly embarrassing.

The comments on Twitter are hilarious. Why they would expect to easily beat a team so many places above them in the league is strange!!

I think one of them was along the lines of 'It is one of the darkest days in our history' or something like that! I guess people still see us as that tinpot non league club

It never ceases to amaze me how many deluded morons there are amongst these "massive" club's supporters?
Tinpot and still having a laugh!
Oh and by the way, I notice Oldham's attendance on Saturday was lower than our average for the season so far...huge club aren't they?

As a footnote to Johnno's post. I wasn't at the Oldham game, but when the gate was announced, Tony Bentley commented that he had been told Burton sold 450 tickets. The official away attendance was 297. Looking at the crowd who were there, how many were there from Burton, 300 or 450? Any feedback from anybody?

Thought it was somewhere between 300-400,but as somebody from Oldham said, sounded more like 1500!

That's what matters. Loud & proud.
I'd rather have 300 lively fans than 1.5k sat in silence.

It made good reading hearing that we were a 'noisey but annoying bunch' and after seeing the video's of our fans on facebook singing 'Can't hear the Oldham sing' i can see why they probably felt this... keep it up lads!
