Hopefully it's not JFH they go for But IMO QPR certainly isn't a bad job and I can't see how he could turn it down That's a club who will be Premier League again next few years Outside of the Premier League it has to be one of the better jobs and the salary will be 5 to 10 times what we could pay Have to agree with that, especially the 1st line.

Jimmy has got a rubbish record in cup competitions. I think other clubs should be very wary of signing him.

Fulham job now up for grabs as well
The Championship must be the worst League in the world for sackings!!

Jimmy now down as favourite for the QPR job ! Think he has been the bookies favourite for every job at any club who has got rid of their manager in the Championship this season so far and that will continue until Jimmy finally does decide to go. This one concerns me slightly more than previous links. This one now concerns a lot more than previous links.

When you read between the lines it's always reports say, this or that manager is linked. I've just read about at least half dozen managers linked just lately with the QPR job, they all more or less report the same thing and start with the same lead, "reports say" what report, where? We know it sells newspapers all these mystery reports. I'll just add though, we started wobbling when Rowett was linked here, there and everywhere, where's this one going.

Jimmy is odds on favourite despite the club saying on Thursday that there's been no "official" approach. This story has only got it's legs since one football paper claims that Jimmy is "ALMOST certain" to take the QPR job. Brendan Rodgers is a fairly close 2nd favourite and apparently was at the Boro vs. QPR game on Friday night.
My money would be on Rodgers personally but someone needs to say something to stop this speculation. Personally I'd prefer Jimmy to address it tonight at the switch on. He's bound to get a microphone shoved in his face at some point.

No "official" approach.
It's still all speculation and bookies odds. All it needs is for Jimmy to say "I'm not interested" and we move on...

I think a manager publicly stating that he is not interested in a job before he is even approached would be a tad presumptuous and frowned upon by most. Not Jimmy's style.

The general feed back I am getting from most fans I have spoken to and football fans in general is that Jimmy will be the next manager of QPR. Jimmy in all honesty can't say anything as stated by peacock, maybe he hasn't been approached yet, its all speculation to be honest unless the club aren't telling the truth which I think is highly unlikely. We will have to be patient no matter what. It would be a surprise if anything would be announced prior to the Wigan game anyway the way the fixtures have fell.

Friend of mind was at the lights being turned on last night. With the DJ who was sorting it with JFH.
Prior to the event the DJ asked JFH if he would be ok to ask him a question about staying with Burton Albion.
JFH wouldn't let him ask the question.
That doesn't say it all as such but it says a little bit at least

Again, I would take that to be 'not Jimmy's style'. The event was about turning on the lights, not JFH...Good for him!

Not disagreeing but he had the opportunity to re-assure fans and/or distance himself from the job but he chose not to Just passing on something I was told though I think whether JFH goes to QPR depends purely on whether he gets offered the job If he does he's not going to be turning it down. It's too good an opportunity.

I seem to remember Jimmy saying it's not about the money, its about the project when he came to Burton. If he does take the QPR job it is about the money, and the project err well second on his mind. Not saying he shouldn't do it, but our little project isn't complete yet.

I feel more confident that he will stay now than i did on Sunday but if he does go then so be it. I have full faith in Ben that if he does go to QPR or any other club for that matter he will appoint the right man yet again.
