Burton Albion ticket news for Sheffield United and Port Valefans are being urged to buy tickets in advance for the priority fixture against Sheffield United. Brewers fans who have registered for the ticketing system can use their unique fan ID number to purchase tickets for the match against the Blades on Tuesday, September 29 (kick off 7.45pm). Those who have not registered can still purchase tickets via the ticket office at the Pirelli Stadium. For priority games there will be no cash admission on the turnstiles. The Lions are set to visit the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday November 14, but with five of Neil Harris' players currently in contention to represent their country, there is a possibility that the game may have to be rescheduled. Football League rules state that a fixture can be postponed and moved to an alternative date during international periods if one side are missing three or more players due to call-ups. And Fleetwood, (from a FB post) It is almost 3 weeks away, on 17th October. But just a heads up about the ridiculously expensive prices at Fleetwood Town, seem to have put them up big time. Under 16 price especially sky high.

An update on this situation.... Plucked from a Southend page..."our trip to Sheffield United on Saturday 14th November falls on an international weekend. Some fans have asked whether the game will be called off due to possible international call ups for either team, so we have decided to let you know the rules regarding a possible postponement due to the call ups. The international team have to give the Football League 15 days notice of call up intention. As our game is away then we have to notify Sheffield United at least seven days prior to the scheduled game if we intend to request a postponement due to International call ups affecting our own playing squad. As our game is away then we have to notify Sheffield United at least seven days prior to the scheduled game if we intend to request a postponement due to International call ups affecting our own playing squad. " So the The Football League currently have to have been notified and if necessary Millwall have to request a postponement by Nov.7th. edit: It seems likely it will be postponed, this is From September....Millwall's game away to Port Vale next month has been rescheduled because of international call-ups. Read more at www.millwallfc.co.uk/news/article/millwall-port-vale-internationals-league-one-2637494.aspx#kpErqOC6XPBdTqKT.99edit2: saw Tony Bentley's FB post earlier so it now looks like it should be played on the 14th. Sure we'll hear for definite once the 7 day notification requirement has passed.

Tony Bentley has posted this on Facebook…
"For the last International Break, Millwall had four players called up and one put on standby. They were Shane Ferguson (Northern Ireland), David Forde (Republic of Ireland), Jimmy Abdou (Comoros), Mahlon Romeo (Antigua & Barbuda) with Steve Morison (Wales) on standby. The Republic of Ireland have European Championship Play Off fixtures against Bosnia & Herzegovina. Northern Ireland have no fixture. Jimmy Abdou is injured and out until Christmas, so althrough Comoros have games he won't be called up. Antigua & Barbuda also do not have any games that weekend, but in any case not sure how Romeo could be called a first team regular. He's only been named in their First Team squad for one game out of 19 this season. Wales have a friendly with Holland, so wouldn't imagine they'd put any players on standby. So I make it only David Forde has a chance of being absent. He was named in Martin O'Neill's provisional 39 man squad, which will be cut nearer the date. Perhaps someone from the club would make a statement about this?"

Staying up in Hawksmoor for the weekend(missus's birthday), Northern Soul night in Ramsbottom in the evening but taking my brother-in-law to the match so was checking if there was a deal ! Well, I registered with Groupon to see if I could buy a ticket. It seems that anyone can. But the deal says "cheer on the Shakers" so don't know if it is just for them or not yet. "Bury FC v Burton Albion Football fans can cheer on the Shakers as they take on the Brewers on 21 November in this League One match-up. The Fine Print Validity: Valid 21 Nov 2015 only. Purchase: May buy 19 additional as gifts. Booking: Address required at point of purchase. All tickets bought using the same delivery address will be seated together. All tickets will be posted 10 days prior to the event date. Must present ticket on the day; you will not be permitted entry with your Groupon. No cancellations, refunds or exchanges permitted. Restrictions: Valid From 3pm. Concession classified as over 65 years, students, unemployed, under 23 years or requiring disabled access. ID required. Valid on option purchased only. Original values: Verified using our merchant's website on 14 Oct 2015" You have to provide an address to have the tickets mailed to and the fine print says "All tickets bought using the same delivery address will be seated together". The question is will the allocation system or person be clever enough to seat you in the away end based on the address you provide??? I had a Live Chat with someone at Groupon and they said it looks like anyone can buy tickets but that I should call the club to check about seating arrangements. The phone rang for over 5 minutes so I sent them an email. I'll update this if I hear anything.
