Do you think he will be a good signing? Seen a lot of negative comments about him but TM must see something in him as he's signed him a few times!!

Don't eject him it's good embarrassing him on here about his club I googled "coventry city embarrassment" There's loads of stuff on there it's hard to know where to start There's a brilliant story from just last week that a load of City fans are wetting their pants about Midland Mainline have spent 13m building a new train station at Ricoh Arena. It's just been finished last week. City fans were all excited about it. Midland Mainline have just confirmed it's only being opened when big events are on at the arena and so it won't be open for Coventry City matches!!You couldn't make it up - I will post the link. (Sky blue crew will still be ok though because he goes to home matches on his scooter) That's incorrect, what London Midland have said is they are not going to increase their trains which is currently one carriage per hour which holds 75 people and the station will be closed for 1 hour after matches this also includes London Wasps matches

Anyway on a serious note
All joking aside.
I've seen enough from googling "Coventry City embarassment" to know that their accountants are seriously worried they won't see the season out as they can't afford to pay their monthly bills. Not counting the 9m debt they have built up with interest.
It's all good banter on here but when it comes down to it we are all football fans together and despite the fact they aren't a good team any more and can't sell their away allocation of tickets etc none of us would like to see Coventry City go under this season in reality. Especially as we will most likely take 6 points off them this season and when it comes down to it that could be the difference between winning the League and coming runners up.
So I'm just wondering whether a few of us on here should take buckets to the match and have a collection for them before the game?
I'm sure they would do the same for us if we ever dropped to their level and became insolvent

As a qualified accountant I can say if an accounting firm is struggling to sign the accounts chances are they are in VERY deep trouble.

Mr Howden, aka Ukrainian Phil, is, or certainly was involved in the media department at York City up to last season. I think he is involved in the matchday video coverage of his beloved Minstermen who now seem to be closer to that lowest common denominator of 2,000 home fans than they were at the time we were in the Conference! He must be out of his mind seeing little old Burton Albion up in League One whilst his side sit in the lower reaches of League 2 and possibly in a dogfight to avoid going back to the Conference and inhabiting the old Confguide. ha ha ha. TBF he did always say we were a "here today, gone tomorrow" club. Up the NLL's!

Well...for all the billy big b******s...just seen on FB that they can't actually sell all of the additional away tickets they were desperate for! Still nearly 200 out of 350 left...Big club my a**e! All tickets for away fans have sold out you muppet. I couldn't get a ticket so I will be with my Derby supporting mate in the home end! Easy win this game IMO. 3-0 and that's if we're unlucky. JOB to score 2 and big REDA to score from 40 yards.

My my you boys are getting excited, suppose it will be your cup final afterall. Im willing to bet any of you mugs that we finish above you.... lets see who has the balls for it Your own accountants aren't even sure you've got enough money to finish the season though - wouldn't be fair to take money off you Have your lot paid any bills lately. I read that you don't even pay St John's Ambulance the bills you owe them or the laundry bills Pretty embarrassing for a club that used to be well known thirty years ago So my worry is if I bet you why should I trust you to pay up? You lot have got a reputation for being skint? Where's then? I haven't read this or no one else has heard of it.

I have. It quite clearly states CCFC needs 11,000 fans at every game this season and there was 13,000 v Wigan and Southend and 11,500 v Crewe. Nothing about ambulance costs, what a weird lie!
Maybe the guy who appears to be upset over CCFC might be a Derby fan who has suddenly shown an interest in Burton once they made the Football Leagues! Do you remember 2005, kid? Derby v Cov - skybluecrew will know what I'm talking about and so will the Derby 'lads'. That's why Derby will be having a large mob out on Sunday...hoping to get some revenge on the Cov lads...first game out since Leicester 2008 in Earlsdon for me....

Amazing how many Cov fans are on here these days I was just having a look for pre match thoughts until a poster is trying to be clever and funny!! Problem is he's censored.word and technically the club could sue him for making accusations which aren't true. Maybe he's a Derby fan who is still angry about 2005....

I hope this forum has a good legal team!! An accusation, a wrong one, has been made about Coventry City not paying hospital costs to St John's ambulance. This is a very serious claim. SISU took 4 CCFC fans into court for posts on a message board I suspect they will do the same for this Burton fan trying to impress his new mates
