Blimey - you are worse than Grendel on our forum, appaling troll. Only problem is mate - your stadium holds 6,000. There will be close to 2,000 away fans there on Sunday. This is your best team and most successful era ever and you won't even sell 4,000 tickets when all the local teams haven't got games. So, your trolling was a good attempt, but it doesn't really work for the reasons I stated. And your point is There isn't one. I respect Burton fans for supporting Burton through the leagues when there's Derby, Leicester and Forest close. However, the problem with my local team Nuneaton is that no actually follows them, which means they will never progress like Burton have. When Coventry, Villa and Leicester are at home the attendance falls by over 50% because these teams fans go to support them when there teams are playing away. It's a bit of a shame, however Bradford are charging £149 for a ST in L1 and Nuneaton ST is over £300 in the conference, so the pricing strategy has to be looked at if they want more people to follow there local teams.

At least we've got a stadium and can afford to play in it I don't mind a fan of a genuine big club coming on here and taking the piss out of Burton Albion But you ain't a big club anymore Your club has been an absolute shambles for years now and to have two jokers coming on here trying to big up a club that's on the verge of going bust at any time is a joke I travel around watching academy football. You used to have a great academy. With some great young players. Then guess what - the bailiffs came in and they threw you out. That was a lovely time for all the young kids who had proudly signed up to represent your club. All your best young players jumped ship to other clubs. Shame as that was one of the few things you did well. And that was your future. [b Again, is this a massive fantasy in your head? The best young players leave because we need money like every football league club. We still have a good academy as far as I'm aware. Lee Burge our goalkeeper is from the academy, Jordan Willis and Aaron Phillips our right-backs are, Ryan Haynes our left back is, Conor Thomas (was on loan at Liverpool, now on the verge of a loan move to Nuneaton), James Maddison (United and Arsenal want him), injured though won't play till after Christmas. All that is very good when you consider Villa, WBA, Leicester, Wolves are all CAT 1 academies and therefore most of the time get the pick of the local talent. Do you know Marcus Harness? Does he play often?

Will the attendance be over 6,000 on Sunday? That appears to be a Football League record set v Bradford in the play offs. I'm sure I read that seat tickets have now sold out, is that a large percentage of the ground or not? Honestly why are you here? Does the attendance matter that much? It'll be a good atmosphere anyway. I suspect it'll be 5.5k+. Our attendances are let down a lot by having only a few hundred away fans in a lot of instances. Can you/we just see what our teams do on the field? So many come here to smack talk us like we're tripe.... Which we aren't

We have a habit of letting players go at a young age then them becoming better than our clubs position. We let Che Adams go, now at Sheffield United and scoring goals. We let Daniel Sturridge go (well, not go, but for a small compo fee) We let Jermaine Grandison go who has made a good career for himself And, the best of all, we nearly let Callum Wilson leave when he was 20 and only made 1 senior appearance. Now he's on the verge of England and the Premier League top goalscorer. We only got £3m him on the back of a 24 goal season, absolute bargain for Bournemouth

I know Burton don't have the league history of Bournemouth but there's no reason why you can't go higher.

So...what's thought of as a big game then? A game vs a big team. Walsall maybe! I remember when Walsall was just a pre season friendly game for us - two Saturday's back they absolutely smashed us. I haven't been that impressed by a team for a while. They are a funny bunch though, they still moan about their manager being too negative when they're still unbeaten in this league with a bottom 4 budget. I seriously don't know what they were expecting!

So...what's thought of as a big game then? I will give an honest answer to that Had you guys come on showing a bit of respect I would have said Coventry was a big game Come on here taking the piss and I will remind you all the shit that your club has gone through the last few years Fact is Burton Albion are a glowing example of how a football club can be run making a profit each year and slow steady progress that many clubs way bigger than Burton could learn from A happy club with happy fans and putting smiles on faces Who ain't remotely interested in talking about meeting up with "crews" Your academy ain't as bad as I just made out as it happens but you did lose your best players to other clubs when the financial problems bit as it gave them a reason to jump ship to a bigger club Anyway I'm off to bed now

Now,there's no reason why we can't make it. It'll be a huge slog to get there though... Realistically top 10 is awesome for a first season in League 1. So I'd be more than happy with that. Some play off fun would be great though

Some play off fun would be great though I know you'll say 'oh but you were in the Premier League and Championship' but Cov haven't finished in the top 6 of any league for 45 years. We are a seriously depressing club with a losing mentality, I don't think we'll ever get promoted from League 1 or make the play offs. I think another stat is one top 10 finish in the last 27 years, there's no excitement and reason to drag yourself up every week. It has to change some day, you'd hope. We always start of well then fade back into a relegation battle. So, I think a draw would be a result both teams would be happy with. Our best forward is away with England, yet just sat on the bench today, our best midfielder is out injured till January and our defence well...if you have a decent striker...expect a goal or 2.

I dislike both Crawley and Fleetwood because they are both bankrolled clubs by a rich guy yet get portrayed as a 'rags to riches' in the media. As far as I know, Burton went through the leagues without throwing money at it. Of course, there's no right way, teams are allowed to spend whatever they like, but Burton are a lot more likeable to a neutral fan than Crawley.

I believe the article that Observer is referring to may be this one. to me (at gone 2am in the morning after a night out in Birmingham where I have either lost or had someone lift my iPad mini from my bag and so I have had to change all my pass words and am well pigged off to put it mildly.. i digress). But more to the point the article by mentioning them infers that there were some at one time if not in the present... www.tribunemagazine.org/2014/04/another-ugly-side-of-the-beautiful-game/
