A month since my last update…
Cup match tomorrow, the excitement, the expectation, the "Wemberlee, Wemberlee, we're the famous Burton Albion and we're off to Wemberlee…"
And all that whilst enjoying pre match pint at your favourite village social club. Guest ale this weekend is the mighty fine Gales HSB 4.8%. Very quoffable indeed.

Seems like another month since the dreams of Wemberlee were snuffed out, but it is only 3 weeks.
Today we have Spitfire as the guest ale, £2.80 a pint as usual. The Pedigree is cock on, also £2.80 and they tell me the Carling is Carlinglike…
For the first time today we have freshly made cobs for sale - a bit of soaky to go with the fine ales.
Free parking as well, and just a short walk to the ground.

Don't know whether it's been mentioned on any other thread, but a new micro-pub 'The Fuggle and Nugget' serves a fine drop of real ale at reasonable prices. It opened a couple of weeks ago, and is on High St. in the arcade of fast food outlets and taxi HQ's just around the corner from the Burton Bridge.

Certainly will, we have Old Cottage Arctic 6.5% on at the moment, half and half weigh Pedi is great. Wouldn't be surprised if that goes though, next up is Dual Diamond from Old Cottage (Double Diamond esque) or Speclled Hen. All at £2.80 a pint, even the strong one!
Also open after the game for the Man U v Chelsea game.

We have no problem with any well behaved fan. Earwig and his friends brought a few Cov fans earlier in the season and I encouraged a Sheffield United fan that I know to pop in (brought me out in a rash even though I had known her for 35 years) they all had a great time. We are not yet promoting it as a place for away fans. That may come in future as we grow, have more staff and have sorted a couple of technical things out.
In addition to the aforementioned fine ales, we will have freshly made cobs available too.
