BURTON Albion fans will get the first chance to see new signings Callum Reilly and Calum Butcher in action when the pre-season fixtures get under way in July.
The Brewers have six friendlies lined up, four of them at the Pirelli Stadium, including the visit of Premiership Leicester City, which has now been moved to Tuesday, July 28, with a 7.30pm kick off. The game was originally scheduled for July 29.
Nigel Pearson’s side finished 14th in the Premiership after a late season surge took them away from the relegation zone and they will be brimming with confidence going into their second season back in the top flight.
The Brewers also have games against three Championship clubs. Wolves just missed out on the play-offs last season, finishing seventh and are the first pre-season opposition at the Pirelli Stadium on July 18.
They will be followed by Birmingham City, under former Albion boss Gary Rowett, before the Brewers take on near neighbours Derby County on August 1.
The Rams recently appointed Paul Clement as their new head coach.
Ticket prices for the home games are as follows:
Seats: £13 adults, £7 16 & under
Terrace £10 adults, £5 16 & under
