This is an awful and a great story, from an injury that would have ended most players career physically and mentally, a resilience and determination than can only be imagined by the majority of people, to being back on the playing field and believing he can still perform at the highest level of league football. I hope he gets fixed up but I would be surprised if a Championship club took a risk, unless it was a pay as you play type deal. You could see a scenario where he trained with a local club (us?) pre season in an effort to get a deal…
Brave and determined lad though.

Absolutely brilliant effort by him. I also hope he can get fixed up, at the highest level he is capable of playing at. If he can still perform at Championship level, great.
