Have to say I have enjoyed reading the threads on this forum,it's been a very good read regarding promotion etc for the last couple of weeks. For my view of the game last night it was very good point, everybody around me at half time all said they would take a point there and then, still top of the league in pole position, all the teams in the league would love to be on our points total. I certainly will be at Morecambe ,let's hope we can at least get a thousand supporters up there on Saturday!

The terraceman and my mate who have been watching the Albion since 1969 will both be there. Quite a few who I have spoken to are going up to Blackpool and making a weekend of it.

I booked my seat on the coach after last nights match , slightly surprised that they were only on Coach 2 , having said that I got the last but one seat on coach 2 . They had a list ready to start taking bookings for Coach 3 .

I'll be there. I'm making the trip on the train. I quite like Morecambe as an away day. Never went to Christie Park but I've been to the Globe a couple of times.
I reckon if we'd have won on Wednesday we'd be up to about 6 official coaches by now. Still should be a healthy following though...oh, and please can we have a glorious, sunny day!

Never went to Christie Park but I've been to the Globe a couple of times. I'm the opposite Spence. It will be my 1st visit to the new ground. Went to Christie a few mainly miserable times.

Exactly the same for me Newark. Christie Park did have that executive box in the middle of the away end though, did it not? Quaint.

If I remember correctly didn't Christie Park feature the "World Cup Bar" ? Generally a miserable destination for us football wise but I can remember a good win in 1979/80 when goals from Phil Annable, Kevin Hector and Jon Nixon gave us a 3-1 win, more of the same Saturday would be very welcome from what I believe will be another tough battle.

From what I've been told the Globe is just a modernised Christie Park. Very similar apparently but just in a more convenient location for the station/seafront.

Enjoy yourselves folks - give a shout for me, Johnno. I'll be going frantic with BBC text. We'd have taken this position at the start of the season. CYOB and see you on the 25th.

Are Phil, Kevin and Jon still eligible to play? Think they might be a bit past it now. Even now though I don't think they would fancy coming up against big Phil ! Looking forward to tomorrow, any body have any idea about how many we are likely to have there ?

Relax BDS...I'll send text updates live from the ground! Hope it's a little easier on the heart rate than the last two but I doubt we'll make it easy for ourselves?

Are Phil, Kevin and Jon still eligible to play? If it's bookings your referring to E7#9, I believe they are all cleared after a certain date, so we have no one on a knife edge now, as far as I understand it? Can't remember exactly what the date was but will research it?

Found it!
If a Player accumulates ten cautions in FTCM between the opening day of the Playing Season and the second Sunday of April in the same Season, he will be suspended automatically for a period covering:- Two First Team matches (v) If a Player accumulates ten cautions in FTCM between the opening day of the Playing Season and the last day of the same Season, he will be: - “Severely Censured and Warned as to his future Conduct” (vi) If a Player accumulates 15 cautions in FTCM between the opening date of the Playing Season and the last day of the same Season, he will be suspended automatically for a period covering: - Three First Team matches (vii) A Player who has already been subject to disciplinary action as a result of receiving five, ten and 15 cautions, and who goes on to receive 20 cautions in FTCM in the same Season, shall be required to attend a meeting of a Regulatory Commission, within seven days of the date of the last caution. The Members of a Regulatory Commission will have the power to deal with the Player in such manner as they deem fit. The same procedure will apply for every further five cautions.
As we're past the second Sunday in April, everyone is ok until the end of the season...the worst you can get is a "slap on the wrist" if you get 10 bookings by the last game.
PS. FTCM = First team competitive match.

My two lads and me will be there. Leaving at 9, a visit to see the late, great Eric Morecambe's statue followed by fish and chips on the front and a visit to the slots (this swung it for the youngest!!).
A Brewers win, 3 points and confirmation of promotion (hopefully) and a very happy journey home.
if Carlsberg did away days......
