Most of you will know my pc skills don't add up to very much so rather than cut and post I will just comment on the story of Albion supporter Vince Hall from Forest Road, Burton as featured in todays Burton Mail. 79 years young and 80 in April, an event he will be celebrating at the Pirelli, Vince was at the meeting at the town hall in 1950 regarding the formation of the club and voted for the name Albion, he has followed the club ever since. What a loyal fan and what a thrill it must be for him to see how far the club has come, how proud he must feel with the club in with a chance of league 1 football for the 1st time in our history. Congratulations from me Vince and I'm sure I speak for all fellow Brewers supporters on here in wishing you a happy birthday in April and many more seasons watching your beloved Burton Albion.

Always good to hear stories like this. I hope that if we get promoted then people like Vince are either invited or involved in the official celebrations. Very important not to forget your roots and where you've come from.

Great story! I've seen him at games many times, you never know the story behind the face! Happy Birthday when it arrives! May I suggest April 15th vs Carlisle for your dinner at the club. Could be a big night!

I meant, to be watching the Brewers at his age but ballsed up my maths, it is 26 years until then, I actually watched my 1st game 48 years ago and have watched whenever possible ever since! WOW that makes me feel old

Maths ! never my strong point either, 1969 was my 1st match, went with a mate from school, not sure he went to many more games but I got hooked and the rest is history, well my history anyway !

Congratulations Vince! I used to stand very close to him on the half way line on the Popside at Eton Park for a few seasons. True supporter.

I met Vince and his 'crew' at the first match I ever attended at Eton Park and have stood with them ever since. We will be in a box on Easter Monday instead of in our usual spot on the Pop Side. He's a cracking fella full of stories about The Brewers in their early days, and I'll be raising a glass or 2 to him.

Well done Vince.
I'll have to see if I can beat you someday but I started in 1968, so still a few more years to go!
