And no mention of Jimmy P so assume he is fit.

Can't speak for Jacob, it is his tweet... But I'm not sure what that icon translates to. It's not a sad face it looks more like wondering or concern maybe??

Wasn't a sad face on his tweet: Ah, there you go. I just copied the tweet above from a FB post. Don't know what happened with the copy/paste?? Good news though that he's training.

Ah, figured it out. When I copied the post from FB I must have missed Jacobs 'OK' emoticon (or whatever its called where you make a circle with thumb and index finger). Then I added 4 question marks at the end (meaning I had questions, like how close is he, will he play a part in run in, who would sit if he played....). The 1st 3 ? were translated automatically to a and the 4th remained a ? There certainly was no intent to post anything negative. I hate predictive text, and things like this. You can't type anything without some clever programmer interpreting what you want to say!!! Grrrr...

MICKAEL Antoine-Curier will have a late fitness test before tonight's clash between Burton Albion and Southend United. The 32-year-old Brewers striker picked up a hamstring strain in Saturday's 3-0 win over Accrington. Adam McGurk, who was substituted at the weekend, is also fine for tonight's clash (7.45pm) with no ill effects from the sore hamstring which caused him to miss the win at Hartlepool. "I took him off because it was 3-0 and there was no need for me to risk him," said Albion boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. "Mickael has got a chance of playing." There is less good news around Florent Cuvelier, who is likely to miss at least the next two weeks after injuring his hamstring scoring the winner at Hartlepool, with one article in the club's matchday programme saying he could miss "four to six weeks". "Cuvelier is not ready yet and will take another two weeks," said Hasselbaink. That's a hell of a lot of hamstrings our lads have done recently
Something tells me the physio needs to look at what they are doing in warm ups and improve something
May be just bad luck but worth investigatiing
Blyth, MAC, McGurk Cuvelier, Reilly - have I missed any?

Blyth has a torn quadracep. But yeah, lots of hamstring injuries this year and not just with us, lots of players at every level. Weird!

It's because no one needs to bend down to pick up the milk or the newspaper every morning these days.

Blyth (pictured) returned to training yesterday (Monday) after he tore his thigh in the closing minutes of the 3-1 win at Cheltenham on February 7. He has missed nine matches. Maynard has missed four matches since tearing a calf muscle in an U21 game but is also expected to train this week, as could Florent Cuvelier. McGurk, who missed the trip to face his old club, is also back in training. "Adam should be ready for Stevenage," said Hasselbaink. "Hopefully we get Kelvin back and Jacob back and those are the first three. Read more: www.burtonmail.co.uk/day-break-suit-Jimmy-Floyd-Hasselbaink-s-battle/story-26217931-detail/story.html#ixzz3VIYGPR3xOne day they "should be ready next week" and the net day "they started training again yesterday"...Hard to believe which media story to believe. I guess they will be back when they are back, hopefully soon as the bench was quite thin at Tranmere.

In the article it does mention him in the casualty list (hamstring) but nothing in regard to training or an expected return date?
