Nasser El Khayati moved from ADO Den Hag to Qatar SC in Doha for £1.53 million last week. His career has certainly flourished since leaving the Brewers. I’m guessing sarcasm but I’m not sure...

I wasn’t implying the news itself was false.

I would never use sarcasm when referring to arguably the best attacking player that has worn the Albion shirt in recent seasons. 25 goals in 65 appearances in the Eredivisie for ADO Den Hag was always going to attract the bidders.

Very interesting to see that Kyle McFadzean was dropped to the bench yesterday for Coventry's game at Oxford. He came on in the 93rd minute and they still conceded as their full back completed a brace of own goals, both absolute belters!
I had a quick look at some Cov threads on twitter and spotted a couple of comments about them missing Allen in midfield, although I'm not sure he has played yet, and also a poll asking whether KM should be recalled for the next game. 85% voted yes after I had voted no just for the hell of it!
They may well both prove to be successes and I genuinely wish them well(apart from against us) but as we regularly say, the grass isn't always greener.

Very sad news coming out of The Netherlands .Former Albion defender Kelvin Maynard has been shot dead in Amsterdam . That's a real shame. I had thought he'd played a lot more than 9 games for us. RIP

^^^ Role model Wayne Rooney will be able to taxi him around when he gets banned, if he's still with the club. Rooney gets his license back after being banned for the very same thing then ran off to play for the yanks.

Another former loanee Jamie Ward has joined Scunthorpe. I'd have said this before I saw their half time score today but that's a cracking signing for Scunthorpe. He's scored on his debut and will do a great job for them when fit. It's been a good day for Nigel's ex signings with Theo Robinson, Chris Porter, Chris Martin, Jamie Ward, Mark O'Brien and Devante Cole all scoring goals in the first 45 mins.
