Met Chris Hall today in Norfolk, A really nice guy, now retired but missing it tremendously. He says he has a massive admiration for Burton Albion and all the achievements, is going to start bringing his son to some games. ππ That's brilliant. Wasn't it Chris who famously nutmegged one of the united players in that cup match? Out of interest did you just manage to bump into him in Norfolk?

I think you are right it was him, and yes it was just a chance meeting, we are staying in the same place.π

Duffy gone to Stoke, not sure of the details. If what is reported in the papers is correct, some of the details in a football score format might be:
Wilder 1 Duffy 0
Greed 0 Reality 1
Chris Wilder is just brilliant and I don't care what his background was as a kid/fan (allegedly) The more I listen to him and the more I read about him, the more I recognise the bloke is a genius of a football manager and someone I'd absolutely love to work for if I was a player. I didn't always rate him so highly and didn't always see what others saw early doors, even at Halifax. I was wrong.

It'll be interesting how he mixes it with the big money boys in the Prem. They all get turned into yes men and have to go with the flow (it must be the money) nice if he doesn't change his principles etc

The one obstacle that Chris Wilder has in terms of me liking him is a major one. A game played on 17 April 2009. Alas the date is all that I can provide as my ongoing therapy sessions forbid me from writing a single word about the game.

I remember sitting next to a couple of scouts at Crawley checking him out.

Club legend?
His goals in those brilliant wins against Wolves, Norwich City and Leeds United kept us in the Championship.
I donβt think Iβve ever cheered as much at a football match as I did when he put away the 2nd past Leeds United.

I would say kightly is the most talented player to pull on a Burton shirt. Great player. Still remember his bit of outrageous skill on the right against the villa - not a clue what or how he did it, proper Ronaldo-esque. Amazing stuff.

Goals today for Sean Scannell (Bradford City), Marcus Harness (Portsmouth), Matty Lund (Scunthorpe United), Cauley Woodrow (Barnsley), Tyler Walker (Lincoln City) and Jerome Binnom-Williams (FC Halifax Town).
If we hadn't moved all of those players on we would have won 6-1 today. Sack the Manager ! Sack the Board !

That is odd !?
It was only ever minutes but I thought this lad showed real promise and would have been worth a punt budgets permitting.

Nasser El Khayati moved from ADO Den Hag to Qatar SC in Doha for Β£1.53 million last week. His career has certainly flourished since leaving the Brewers.
