I'm surprised about Harrad going out on loan, I thought after his loan spell at Rotherham United he went back to Bury and did quite well? I might be wrong though.

Watched Andy Sinton this afternoon playing for Spurs 'Legends' v Watford 'Legends'. Looked trimmer than in his Albion days. For those veterans amongst us..Darren 'Sicknote' Anderton was in fine form and even managed a 20 minutes half without injury.

Tom Parkes has signed a permanent deal with Bristol Rovers.
Always liked him when he was here. He's a great prospect and I wish the lad well.

The reason why it all went wrong for Harrad at Northampton: www.northamptonchron.co.uk/sport/football/cobblers/gilligan-launches-astonishing-attack-on-cobblers-boss-boothroyd-1-4180797Harrad left the club to join Bury last season, and has since been loaned to Cheltenham Town, for whom he scored on his debut on Saturday. There were rumours about a confrontation between the striker and manager Johnson during their time together at Sixfields, and Gilligan alleges they were true. “Johnson tried to fight him, grabbed Shaun by the throat in the dressing room before being separated,” he said. “Lost the lads then & there. “He went off on one because Shaun didn’t make a run! Starting hurling abuse and then went for him #cretin.” Gary Johnson sounds like one nasty guy!

Another ex-loanee Scott Malone has ended up moving to Millwall from Bournemouth on a permanent transfer.
He was a decent player...but Championship quality??? He must've come on leaps and bounds since we had him.

Harrad got his third goal for Cheltenham yesterday. They must be thinking 'manna from heaven'.

Differing fortunes so far for last season's centre-backs. James's Newport County won all four games, 12 points, top of the table - Ryno's Kiddy, lost every one, got nowt, rock bottom.......early days Ryan....early days......

Didn't realise until he scored a hat-trick against Stoke on Tuesday that James Collins had moved to Swindon. Seems like a player very much on the up and at this rate maybe Villa might rue releasing him

Seanan Clucas played both of Northern Ireland's under 21 matches this week, against Macedonia and Denmark. Think he played the 90 minutes in both of them.
