They'd be mad not to look at Nigel for that job.

Steve Clarke. Turns Fulham down on November 20th, sacked by Reading on December 4th. He was appointed on December 14th 2014.
With Jimmy leaving us that's 25 managers leaving either of their own accord or getting sacked....and we're not even at Christmas yet!
What was I saying about jobs always being available...?

An ex is an ex for a reason. Very true, but the reason in many cases, NC and EH included are not dishonourable reasons!!. These went to further their careers, with their clubs blessing.

Jose did ok at Chelsea last year! Who knows we may see JFH back here one day, no one can call him dishonourable surely? There are quite a few dishonourable 'fans' though.

There should be a law against sacking any manager during the season following he has won a team promotion.

He's been trying to get players in, he wasn't happy with all that I reckon. And of course their position must obviously be a factor.

48 out of the 92 Premier League and Football League's clubs have had their current manager in charge for less than 12 months.

Cotterill joined Bristol City, and their season went from strength to strength and they got automatic promotion with him. At a time of transition with their ground extended to about 23000 capacity,What the team achieved on the pitch was remarkable,Seems strange when a club needs to consolidate in a higher league Last season was like playing on a building siite

Another two gone. Former Brewer Mark Robins has been sacked by Scunthorpe and Ian Hendon was let go by Leyton Orient the other day. I dare say Mickey Mellon will be on thin ice if we beat them on Saturday. This season must be approaching some kind of record for the amount of managers starting the season and not seeing the end of it.

Not sure of the circumstances but, Paul Clement has left the Rams. Darren Wassall takes charge until the end of the season.
