Anyone care to offer their ideas for tomorrow? We have never beaten Oxford in the league at home yet. Our very first meeting against them was a travesty, as we played really well, and hit the woodwork I think five times in the game. We lost 2 1 to a late dead ball goal, can't remember if it was a penalty or not.

I was saying at work earlier that we hadn't beaten them at home in the league, although we did knock em out of the cup! I do however think this is a really good chance to break our duck, we are playing well and looking solid, they are without Constable, I fancy us for a 2 - 1 win

I predict some angry reactions if Billy is healthy and doesn't start! Article in the mail this week said he would have to fight to get his spot back after Patersons goal at Rochdale. <furrowed brow>

Why shouldn't he have to fight for his place back? Has Patterson not earned the right to start? If Billy has to fight for his place back as far as I'm concerned that is a good thing, especially if it means him coming on fresh with 20 -25 mins to go needing to prove himself!

Stick with the same 11 that started against Rochdale apart from Dyer in for Palmer obviously.
Oxford are a very strong team but their form is all over the place, just like ours.
I agree with sjh. 2-2 draw.

The same 11 to start tomorrow with the exception of Chris of course. No one deserves to dropped after last weeks game. Those that come on as subs need to prove they are worthy of a start for next game. Healthy competition.
I predict 3 points for the brewers.

Start with the same team. The second game of a consistent run. Clean sheet. Two goals.
2 - 0. Patterson & Kee (off the bench).

I'm going for a slightly optimistic 2-1 win, Patterson and Kee.
Webster in for Palmer.

for me Billy has the one player who gives me the confidence that we can get an early lead and avoid having to claw back to get in the game. I'm not saying that others don't score early on, but when they do its more like "YES" but with Billy its like "right, here we go".
